Lovely small deluxe hotel
Have stayed here now twice - once for pleasure, once for work. It's become my new go-to place to stay in London. Discreet, quiet, centrally located, great service. Very comfortable beds! Highly recommend
Little Japanese sanctuary in heart of London
Just back from a one night weekend stay, and have to say extremely impressed. Welcomed with a glass of mulled wine, and the friendliest staff I’ve ever experienced, especially in London. Rooms are spacious and full of extras such as nespresso machines, Japanese teapots (and teas), yukata robes, gowns, and even a yoga mat if you’re that way inclined. Great breakfast, either Japanese or English & continental. We also had the Japanese afternoon tea which was excellent, and a nice change from the usual finger sandwiches, and very well priced for central London (you’re 5 mins from Marble Arch tube and selfridges). Wish they would sell their air freshener scent, as it was amazing! Will definitely be back and will be our new go to hotel in London.
Fantastic Wedding Weekend
We stayed at the Prince Akatoki as a base for our wedding at the Old Marylebone Town Hall and had a fabulous time! Perfect hospitality from the Akatoki team that made our lives so easy. Rooms were modern and comfortable and the entire vibe of the hotel was perfect for making it a special weekend. Alex at reception was a gem - no task too hard, no question unanswered. We loved our time in the bar as well, with some creative cocktails to relax with in the evening. Breakfast also top notch. Highly recommended!
A relaxing break in the heart of London
Our stay at the Prince Akatoki was absolutely incredible for an abundance of reasons. Throughout our time at the hotel, we often dealt with Alex at the reception, who kindly helped us and answered all of our queries. The beautiful decor of the room and the public areas was made even more enjoyable by the seamless turndown service. In particular, Marta accommodated to our timing needs while also doing an amazing job in our room. The hotel restaurant, Tokii, not only served delicious food, but also provided a unique atmosphere and a wonderful culinary experience. However, it was the bar, the Malt Lounge, and the service that we experienced from the bartender Dimo, that made our stay truly unforgettable. He was extremely knowledgable and personable, and offered and advised us on some amazing cocktails. The hotel's perfect Central London location further added to the luxury of our experience.
Proposal weekend
We loved staying at this hotel, we had been to japan the previous year for a holiday and the hotel reminded us of our stay in Tokyo and Kyoto. The bar at the hotel was wonderful -the malt bar, the drinks were delicious and the ambience was perfect. My partner had already checked in earlier in the day so when I arrived I didn’t receive any details about the hotel and their regulations around the hotel, which would have been useful. The rooms were beautiful and clean, the staff were all very polite. Once again, no one had explained what was free of charge from the minibar, so was apprehensive to even use the milk in the fridge to make my coffee. My partner had to go and ask reception for milk. Another thing which was a little disappointing was that no one really congratulated us even though they knew we had gotten engaged over the weekend and that was the reason of our stay, or even sent a little note. The location was perfect, it was a short walk from shops and restaurants.
