A gem in waiting.. lovely little place.. great location for Winter Wonderful!!

This could be a gem. Lovely old boutique furnishes and fantastic suite with sofa bed. Staff were lovely and location is brilliant 2 minutes from Winter wonderland. Comfy beds. However, TV kept losing signal, so annoying so gave up in the end. Bring a book. 😩The bathroom door sticks so daughter got stuck which was scary. Outer window would not shut so noisy. Little touches would make this wonderful.

The Leonard is just a quick walk from Marble Arch, close to Oxford St for shopping! Hyde Park! It’s just so convenient to the heart of London. The staff are friendly the rooms are unique and comfortable! I always make this my hotel of choice when visiting London!
Leaking air conditioning unit and no food available

I visited The Leonard with my partner on the 25th September for the night. We were visiting London from Oxford due to an art event I was exhibiting at down Oxford Street and we’re very happy with the initial impression of the hotel, very old school, warm and comforting. During our stay, we decided to turn the air conditioning unit on. 10-15 mins into using it, it started leaking a lot of water, to the point where the carpet became saturated and sopping wet. We reported it to reception, and continued to use the air conditioning unit, as the room, and hotel, was very warm. The shower was also so difficult to use, there was no cool setting and the coolest temperature was very hot. The sink tap was also not very cold, despite running the tap for a while. Wallpaper was also peeling off the walls in the bathroom. Ontop of this, despite the food menu saying 24 hour food service, we returned from the event very late and were unable to order food. Very unhappy with this miscommunication. Overall, the stay was ok and we did sleep well, but the air conditioning unit, bathroom in general and 24 hour food promise needs to be worked on.

Hotel in desperate need of updating - very tired decor - old fashioned and not in a shabby chic kind of way Very expensive for room and no breakfast - odd hotel ! Couldn’t get in during evening as doors locked and no one answering the number provided - forced to hang about on the street Noisy room- as over the street Light in shower didn’t work ! Location great but accommodation and service needs improvement to be rated anywhere near 4stars -

Booked to come last weekend May paid a breakfast included rate. On arrival I was told their restaurant was closed. They haven't cleaned the room by COVID protocol, but there was only the receptionist in the hotel. The room wasn't bad.
