Great hotel at an excellent cost

Staff were excellent, I changed the room type due to partner not being able to make it and got changed to a suite. Cannot complain location fantastic easy to get to from Paddington and a few places to eat, drink literally round the corner. Location again to Hyde park easily accessed. Hotel had been more than accommodating with covid changing the dates 3 x as I was taking part in the Royal Parks Half marathon.
Riddled with immigrants awaiting free housing

Was going to book this place but discovered it was riddled with immigrants who have not yet been allocated free housing elsewhere. This is not a hotel, it’s an immigrants holding station. Why pay for a hotel room when most others are getting it at tax payers money ?
DO NOT BOOK WITH THIS HOTEL!!!!

If I could give this hotel a zero I would. I have been dealing with them for the past 5 months to try and get a refund for a booking that was cancelled by the hotel in July because of Covid. The hotel originally offered me a voucher for the next 12 months which I was happy to accept, and when I called to book in my new date I was told that my voucher was invalid and I would now be getting a refund instead. 5 months later, endless calls and emails every single week and I am no closer to getting my refund. The staff lie every chance they get and I have email and call proof that they will be processing my refund “soon”, then when I call back for an update, they give me another excuse or they have no idea about my booking. I’ve been going in circles with these guys now and I can honestly say it’s the worst customer service I’ve ever dealt with in my life. I would never recommend this hotel to anyone. Absolutely disgusting customer service. DO NOT BOOK!

If you're interested in a low-budget stay, you're better off in a Travelodge or any other standard budget hotel. This hotel does not impress or convey any sense of grandeur. Its proximity to Paddington station is perhaps the only thing in its favour .

I found this hotel on booking.com & it was a truly great find! Nestled just down the road from Paddington station, very central! Great rooms, bathroom is a little cramped but hey I’m not living in there! There are cafes, restaurants just around the corner from us! We had a full cooked breakfast at one b of them, as the hotel does only continental! Beautiful foyer, will definitely come back it’s perfect!
