We have been here quite a few times, and we have not had an issue anytime we have been, The bedroom was a good size and the breakfast isn't to bad either, The staff are helpful and friendly. Whenever we go London we normally stay here as its in a good location also.
Not Bad but not Brilliant

I booked this hotel as a budget option close to the centre for 3 nights. I didn't read the reviews beforehand and was quite worried about staying in this hotel. However, post-Corona anyway, we found it wasn't as bad as it was made out to be.
It is definitely run-down and shabby and in need of renovation. However, the bed was comfy and the sheets were clean, as were the towels. The bathroom facilities are clean and work, although the shower in the room is tiny. There isn't a toilet in the room which some might find annoying but it wasn't really an issue. We did have trouble with the plug sockets working but this was sorted by the staff, who were polite. We thought we'd have to pay for WiFi but luckily it was free and worked really well-so this was a bonus!
Overall, you get what you pay for. I'd say this is a good budget option for people that are just looking to use a room as a base and will be out and about most of the day. I suspect the state of the rooms would've been worse before Corona but I'm guessing it has encouraged the staff to keep the premises cleaner. Personally I'm glad I didn't have to spend too much on the hotel-would rather spend money on exploring the city but that's just me!

I am absolutely disgraced by this hotel, as the whole world is aware at the moment with this coronavirus everybody is on lockdown. I paid £170.04, to go today with myself and my family from Italy. Unfortunately due to lockdown we couldn’t make it, I have contacted them various of times and all I get on the phone is email us the boss will respond. I email, and heard nothing back... so I have reported this issue with booking.com where I made my booking. I feel robbed and seems unfair for me to loose all this money and having no response from the hotel manager or anybody via email. I will be taking this to the papers, or higher.

Badly in need of decorating. Filthy skirtings. Hot water tap missing top and difficult to turn off. Shower cubicle dirty. £5 to have mobile password. Very noisy. Breakfast is cereal and rack of white toast. Sheets were clean. Would not stay there again.
WORST HOTEL EVER

It was absolutely disgusting!! Everything was dirty, the curtains were disgusting and the window was broken. We booked a room for four people and it was very small. Everything was forced into the room, there was no space at all and only a single wardrobe which, by the way, was tiny.
The breakfast is terrible, they only offer cereals and toast. You have to pay £5 for the Wi-Fi and £2’50 to leave your luggage there when you check out (you have to check out at 10:30!!)
The staff is very mean and they don’t even try to be nice.
Horrible, disgusting, dirty hotel. Do not go!!
