Long Beach Hotel

We stayed at the Long Beach hotel the weekend of October 3rd for a family reunion. We had two rooms connecting. We tried initially to book the Allegria but there was a wedding and nothing available. We paid nearly 400.00 dollars for a smelly, cold, dirty room. The beige blankets had curly hair stuck to it and the mattress covers hadn't been washed in decades! They only served coffee in the morning at 8am. No breakfast! I will never patronize the long beach hotel again for any reason! Josie from Jersey

Never been to LBI. Planned a weekend getaway with our teenagers. Location is very busy. Not ideal. Hotel itself is really beautiful. Spacious rooms, nice modern finishes, tastefully done. We ate at Salt for dinner. Food & service were really great. The guest services & front desk how ever were really sub par. Felt like a 2 star hotel would be more service oriented. Definitely weak link. Asked for restaurant suggestions on the island and told me to check open table. When I couldn’t find any, called back and asked for help and they refused. Said I needed to do on my own. When I asked if the hotel had concierge services, they said yes they were but the front desk was definitely not helpful. Never called me back even with suggestions. Housekeeping and valet team in front were very good. Not rushing back there due to service. Paid top dollar on a holiday weekend and was disappointed.

Pros : a block and a half from the boardwalk, parking , and food and drinks at the restaurant/ bar were really good. Cons: the bed in room 125 was so hard my hip and back hurt , tv and room phone didn’t work. Stayed August 15th for one night and that’s all it’s good for unless the beds are replaced ! First impression of hotel was that it was clean but needs some love . Randi at the reception desk was really nice and answered all of my questions - hospitality from the hotel staff to the restaurant staff was great ! Tickets for the beach were available for $15.00 which was good since NY’ers are not allowed on beach per COVID . My friend and I had a really great girls night out and would consider this hotel again if the changes are made ! Would have been a 4 star but a girl needs to sleep comfortably.

DO NOT STAY HERE Upon checking in at our one night stay we extended our visit by one additional night. The girl behind the counter said every thing was set, adjusted our room and gave us the key. When we arrived back to the room the following day all of our belongings had been packed up and brought downstairs by hotel staff. When we confronted the management they took no responsibility and said “you guys forgot to check out?” Our stuff was thrown around in random bags with no regard during a PANDEMIC. When we left they said they would comp a night. After calling the booking site they could not get in touch with hotel management to confirm refund. After we called ourselves they said comping one of the nights stay was actually “out of policy” and after multiple phone calls they offered a future night stay comp or 50% off one of the nights of our past stay. To avoid ever staying with them again we chose 50% off one night of our stay. It has been over month and we have called dozens of time to follow up on the refund and have still not received one. This place is TRASH. Shame on your Erica and Sandy.

I took my daughter away for a long mother/daughter weekend. While the staff is pleasant, the service itself is horrible!!! The room was never cleaned. We left the sign on the door, we asked and nothing. Finally they said because of COVID. I guess that was why we had no towels, no TP, no garbage removed from our room....If I wanted service like this I’d sleep in the car. Sand in the beds, on the floor, In the tub. Very disappointing. Go to the Allegria or sleep In your car.
