Clean and Quiet
I'm not sure if it's fair to review a hotel during the COVID-19 crisis, but I had to go to Longmont on business and this is where I stayed. The property appears fairly new and there were little signs of wear and tear. There were clearly very few guests. Breakfast service had been discontinued. Maid service was down to once every five days, although you could have a bin of supplies brought to your room if needed. The room was very clean. The bed was comfortable. The lobby smelled of disinfectant -- probably a good thing. they seemed to be taking things seriously.
mismanaged
This Fairfield disappointed compared to several others we stayed on our round trip vacation. First, they did not have the type of room we booked. The agreed price discount was not made for every night. The hotel is poorly run. We had no housekeeper on one of the 3 nights. Breakfast had no bread, no milk, and the toaster does not work properly. In the room there were burned out lamps. The Hotel needs a renovation in the inside part.
Spent 4 nights here!
We arrived here on a Wed. afternoon as part of a wedding block and were able to check in at noon! Overall we had a great stay! The staff were informative and super helpful if we ever had any questions. Cleaning staff (floor 2) were also super awesome and helpful. Area/Parking: There is TONS of stores, places to eat and activities right around the hotel, with several options within walking distance! Parking was good, we never had trouble finding a spot. It's about a 40-45 min drive to the Estes Park entrance to the Rocky Mountains and about 40-45 min trip from the Denver airport! Both were super easy! Lobby/amenities: We came with a group of about 30-40 people. The hotel lobby had several comfortable area's to sit around and gather, play games etc. There was a huge tv in the lobby with a couch and coffee table. The kitchen area was huge with several tables and booths, and even tables and a huge high top table with tons of seating around it witch had charging stations on it. There was also a huge tv in that area. They had coffee and water set up at all times, with a fridge that had some yogurt, milk and fresh fruit always set out left over from breakfast. There was also a little area with a microwave, soda, water, iced coffee, toiletries, all kinda of chips, candy and crackers, soups, noodle bowls, frozen pizza's, hot pockets, etc for purchase. That was nice to have! There were 4 floors at this hotel, we had people staying on all floors, the hallways around long at all, its not hard to find where you are going since the hallways are all the same on each level. It was super easy to get around, elevator's are a little slow but there is stairs on each end. The meeting room was rented for a wedding party one of the nights we stayed, it cost $150 to rent the room and the staff moved tables how we requested and had it set up very nicely, added a water station to the room for us and even tried to find other odd things we requested. The room was big and had gorgeous tall windows with pretty curtains and a nice little area to set up food! Room: The room was nice looking and very very clean. Bed was SUPER comfy. In our room we had my husband, 6 year old daughter and my infant son. There was not alot of room for the 4 of us. The closet was too small to store luggage and they did not have a big enough dresser for everyone to unpack their clothes. I wasn't very happy with that at all but we managed... it just made things really cluttered. Lighting was good in the room, the temp was easy to control. The bathroom was nice, huge counter space, shower was GREAT.. they have a nice ledge and another bar option to store stuff while showering. Fridge in the room with coffee maker and ice bucket. Ice machine is on each floor too which is nice. Breakfast: Was. amazing. They had fresh fruit (strawberries, grapes, banana's and apple's) bread, bagel's, english muffins, pound cakes, 3 kinds of cereal, milk, orange and apple juice, coffee, scrambled egg, omelet egg, sausage/bacon, waffle maker. And some days they would do bacon and sausage or just sausage. They also had biscuits and gravy two of the days we were there! All the food was good, the staff was very attentive if you needed help with the waffle maker and kept up cleaning and adding food quickly when it would run out. We never went out to buy breakfast during our stay.
Almost New Fairfield
This hotel was fairly new and in good condition. It is located near a busy street, but is far enough off the street to get limited traffic noise. It was quiet during the night. It is near restaurants, several grocery stores, Sam's Club, and other shopping. The room was comfortable and clean. The night we were there, the rate was quite high. Breakfast was the usual hotel breakfast. The staff were not that friendly or helpful.
Great hotel and very convenient
Enjoyed our stay! Almost new.... Everything was clean and quiet in the king suite. Very convenient to highway, restaurants, coffee shops, shopping, etc A very friendly hotel staff that go out of their way to help. Just a suggestion: please offer tea from the famous tea company (Celestial Seasonings) made in the Factory just 15 minutes away... support American made in Colorado!
