Short stay before birding auto train

FANTASTIC stay. The entire staff was so accommodating. Beautiful rooms with many updates. Booked adjoining rooms last minute and was so great for our family. Friendly personable staff that catered to us and our needs like true professionals. Smiling staff even with masks on!

Comfortable hotel along highway

We stayed here twice on a recent road trip. This is the nicest HIE hotel I’ve stayed at. Comfortable beds and clean rooms. Breakfast is standard HIE stuff but the coffee was very good. Staff was also very friendly. Was impressed how the staff took care of the place. Would stay here again.

Great location for auto train

Awesome place to stay before the auto train. Very convenient to get there. Super friendly staff. Clean and safe place. Couldn’t ask for more, really. We skipped the breakfast and went to Garden cafe—not that it was bad. Looked good but we had time to kill. It was a great stay.

Convenient to Auto Train

Located near Auto Train Amtrak. We enjoyed clean rooms, excellent breakfast, lobby coffee and Local restaurants. We went to Glory days, excellent, 2 miles. Staff was willing and able to answer all our questions.

Amazing renovation

We stay here every year before boarding the auto train and this hotel changed from a Comfort Inn to Holiday Inn Express in the summer after a completely amazing renovation. The upgrades are fabulous with bright spotlessly clean interior. Breakfast was amazing with FRESH MADE OMLETS, warm cinnamon rolls and other delicious items. I recommend this hotel with a high rating. Also beds were so comfortable with a steely mattress and comfortable bed pillows
