A Warning for Mid May 2021
This motel is fine - clean, rooms are decent. However a BIG warning: I checked in for the week and there is a jackhammer starting every morning at 7AM in front of the motel. It is LOUD and you can hear it from basically anywhere on the property. I am changing rooms, which may help a bit, but if you want a relaxing stay look elsewhere, at least right now. Very disappointed that the staff did not reveal this when I made my reservation, since when I complained I was told this had been going on for at least a month already. Transparency is important if you want to build trust with your customer base. Comfort Inn failed on this one. The noise is deafening. Very disappointed in Comfort Inn.
Spot On!!
As a travel Nurse a good night sleep is important to me and this room was very clean and the bed was so comfortable I didn’t even wake up in the middle of the night . The ladies at the front desk were friendly and the check in went smoothly. Thanks guys for the stay... was delightful.
Location, Location, Location
It had a good location. Near our daughter's house. And it was clean. All of the employees were very nice. But the paint on the walls was redone so many times that it looked sloppy. The handle to the outside door partially broke and made it dificult to go in and out. The room was very small. The breakfast was awful; lousy thin coffee, and piles of sweet carbohydrates. The bed was OK. It was noisy enough to keep me awake AFTER I removed my hearing aids. I'd look at other rooms in the neighborhood before I chose this one again.
AWFUL
This is single-handedly the worst hotel I've ever stayed in. The ONLY PRO was the bed was clean and housekeeping does a good job cleaning. Besides that I have nothing good to stay about this hotel. I was traveling for business and the hotel was pre-paid. When I went to check-in and was told I couldn't check-in without the original card that was used to pay on Hotels.com. I have never ever heard of a hotel doing this before. EVER. and I travel about 200+ days a year. I was finally allowed to check-in, however, they had to charge another credit card for the the amount we had already paid. I was told there would be a refund on the original card. My office had to call Hotels.com who thought this was extremely weird and is not listed anywhere when you book. Hotels.com had to call the hotel to get the refund back on the original card. The front desk staff was extremely rude as well. I should've followed my gut and left then, because it continued to get worse. The walls are paper thin. You can hear everything in the rooms next door and outside. Everytime a door closes in the facility you hear it. YOU HEAR EVERYTHING. I was woken up after just falling asleep at 11:30am by the room next door going in and out of their room. Then I was woken up at 2:20am by someone outside and again at 5am by someone dragging luggage down the stairs. Also, it seems like people live here? So there is a lot of in and out. Do yourself a favor. DON'T stay here.
Too far from LAX airport
We arrived almost 1am in the morning.the room is just fine for an overnight stay.water pressure is too slow.the area is too quiet at night and Denny’s is the only place open 24 hrs.we thought we booked a room close to the airport but it’s not it took us almost hour and a half so we decided the next day to check out and booked a room closer to the airport.front desk clerk was nice.
