Horrible! Parking/Valet at Indigo lost key to my car!

Reviewed 3 january, 2022

Be Warned! NEVER use the valet parking (run by AAA Parking) at the Hotel Indigo - you're greeted with $51.70 a night for in/out privileges. While we were fine with the price for the two nights we stayed, we NEVER expected the valet to lose the key to our personal car! We waited for a whole hour the morning we checked out for the valet team to look everywhere with no avail- they could not find our key! and then made us fill a form to go through their claim process. Luckily, my partner brought our spare key when we went on our road trip- otherwise we would have been stuck in LA! After two days, the valet service has not reimbursed me for the replacement cost of our key, and is still making us go through their claim process. I don't have time to wait, and AAA Valet or Hotel Indigo should pay for the replacement cost of my car key immediately! Absolutely ridiculous service from AAA parking/Hotel Indigo and they were not apologetic at all. You get a fake sorry and the valet team did not even offer to waive the valet fees. I had to complain to the front desk manager at Hotel Indigo and she said she would waive the fee. What's crazy is I still see a charge of $51.70 on my credit card currently. As for the actual hotel room I give 2/5 rating. We were put in a room close to the elevator and we could hear it at night. Water pressure in the shower is very weak and the water was lukewarm on the first day and fine on the second. There is also water/plumbing noise that is more apparent at night (probably from upstairs) when your neighbors are showering. The beds were clean. At the end of the day, Hotel Indigo is also responsible because your team picked this horrible vendor AAA Parking for your valet service.

Lacking in several areas with safety issues

Reviewed 30 december, 2021

Rooms were built nicely with great shower and sufficient charging points. Probably because we were in a suite due to Platinum member status. Unfortunately, the hotel could do much better if attention had been given to service. Firstly, I requested for face towels on my first day of arrival and was informed that the hotel had none. No reason was provided and I was really shocked why the hotel did not have any face towels. Secondly, I requested for wine glasses and was informed that we have to collect them at the bar. When I got to the bar, I was only given plastic cups. And finally and more importantly, I am writing this review at 130am in the morning now because someone knocked on our room door at 1am and it turns out to be a pizza delivery guy asking if we ordered pizza, which we obviously did not!!! This made us feel that the hotel is so unsafe as it seems that anyone could just access the guest rooms and go around knocking on doors??!! Feeling very ridiculous that the hotel allows this especially at such a late hour. Being a Platinum member, we have stayed at several IHG hotels across the world and this is the most ridiculous and bizarre stay ever. Terrible.

Stay here! It’s the best! Ruben will take care of you

As soon as we arrived, we were treated like royalty. Hats off to RUBEN who went above and beyond. He carried all our luggage (and boy we had a lot), got me ice, brought me smart water and saw us going out for dinner and he ran to give us umbrellas as it was drizzling! Efficient service! Plus the rooms are so spacious and artfully designed. The beds are so comfortable as the bathrooms are so stylish. This is the place to be!

Beautiful and Interesting Hotel

Reviewed 11 december, 2021

This was our 2nd time in Hotel Indigo and it doesn’t disappoint. Good downtown location. The room is just beautiful, especially the bathroom! I would stay here just for that. We had excellent service from Ruben. Kind, warm and friendly and very professional.
