STARLIGHT INN MOTEL

This hotel/Motel is a rip off and there thiefs they said the room was $80 when I checked my bank account app it said $98 dollars don't come to this place the guy at the front desk looks at you weird and also is very rude. Place is in a sketchy place is should 0 stars because it's not a good place to stay not worth your money studio city in commerce is only $80 and they will refund your money and won't steal from and the rooms are way more nice and cleaner .

I picked this place because there were a lot of positive reviews, even though it was a 2 star place. It was a terrible experience. Room smelled of urine, towels were torn and stained, bathroom was moldy and water didn't drain from tub. They didn't service the room, even though we asked them to several times. Shady people seem to be hanging around at all times. Parking is very limited, and street parking looks unsafe.

It's getting harder these days to find a motel under $100 that isn't unclean, unsafe or unsavory for any combination of reasons. With that challenge my girlfriend and I, needing an inexpensive place to stay during a recent visit to LA., decided to give the Starlight Inn Valley Blvd a try. It didn't start off well but ended better. First thing we always do is throw off the bed cover and carefully inspect the bed. Turns out there are no blankets available - only the sheets and the cover. Worse, we found hairs on the sheets. This didn't exactly make us feel comfortable staying the night. However, even though we arrived a 1AM to check in, the front desk and housekeeping staff were very friendly, apologetic and accommodating. They promptly replaced the sheets and the bed cover with freshly laundered ones. The way the staff handled us as well as the following pros bumped my rating up to 4 Stars: 1) Room and bathroom otherwise clean and spacious 2) Bed and pillows surprisingly comfortable 3) Great air conditioning kept the room nicely and consistently cool 4) Free refrigerator and free WiFi 5) Nice hot shower with good water pressure Overall a good value for the money if not a little rough around the edges. Bottom line: I'd stay again.

This Starlight Inn Motel is as good as it gets. Best bang for your buck, the staff onsite is friendly and very considerate of one's need's. I honestly can say that for the price you pay you get more than you bargain for. I have been to some other Motels for a higher price and I can say that I have never gone back. Starlight Inn has won my business I am a repeat customer and proud of it. If you are near the area and need a place to stay do not hesitate to stop by. I am certain you will not be disappointed.

Rooms are stinky. Window only to inner corridor and doesn't lock, not safe. Some guy was staring at us from the minute we drove in. Don't be fooled by the low price, it doesn't worth it. Pay a little bit more and get a normal hotel!!
