The hotel is excellent for travelers who are traveling to Los Angeles and are staying for business and the staff was nice and the room were clean and the shower had great water pressure. Overall I am definitely going to be back here again.

The vibes of the NoMad are to satisfy your luxurious palate. I stayed at the Corner Suite on the third floor and I just loved the decor and the lively environment in the evening. From the comfort of the heated rooftops to the espresso martinis. My stay was just impeccable.

We returned for the third time since it opened and had a great time, but were sad to see the French guy (Max?) was no longer there. Dommage! Everything was great anyway. Wonderful customer service and room service.

We just stayed at the Hotel Nomad in LA for four nights. There were both positives and negatives. Some things marked it as a luxury hotel, but yet in other aspects things were not provided that one would expect in an inexpensive non luxury hotel.
First the positives: The lobby and common areas are lovely. The roof top area (which we went to see but didn’t use) is beautiful. The most significant positive is the staff. Everyone, from bell men to valets to especially the front desk were attentive and superb. The front desk people went out of their way to try to rectify the complaints we had on day one (see below); they helped us to order tickets and to obtain airline boarding passes.
The Negatives: The most significant negative was that our room had NO drawers or even available shelves in either the bedroom or bathroom. The front desk arranged to bring a couple narrow pieces of glass shelving, but it wasn’t enough, and we had to live largely out of our suitcases for the four days. Indicative of a luxury hotel, the room did come with two very nice terry cloth robes, but yet there was no coffee maker and no ice bucket. A sign in the bathroom requested us to hang up our towels and re-use them, but not only were there no shelves (other than the one taken up by all the clean towels), there was only a single hook to hang anything on.
All in all it was a strange experience...in some ways it was luxury, in other ways the designers and managers of the hotel seemed either to be cutting corners or not cognizant of what hotel consumers need.
Five-Star Service (Minus Two Employees)

I often frequent this hotel as they are centrally located in the city and welcome large dogs. The restored historic building is stunning, and the lobby and rooms are clean and luxuriously appointed. The rooms are spacious and the beds are comfortable, and the linens always feel so soft and thick. The rooftop has an interesting fireplace and amazing views of the city, and there is a poolside bar and restaurant on the rooftop as well (the rose spritz cocktail at the rooftop bar is my favorite!).
The service I receive is top notch--from the valet, to the bellmen (the tall guy with the braids is awesome, as is the guy with the glasses!), to the front desk, to the security. I enjoy getting coffee in the lobby and chatting with some of the staff, most notably the friendly security guard with the 49ers tie. I have only encountered two rude employees: one woman who seemingly works in the lobby restaurant in the mornings, and the other, who, from what I gathered, is the Security Director named Sunny. Sunny had a very poor attitude and I witnessed him berating his employee in the lobby, which made me and other guests feel uncomfortable. Neither of these employees smiled at me, other guests, or even their coworkers. Their level of professionalism falls way short of what I expect and normally experience at this hotel.
