Amazing
If I could live here I would. The place is gorgeous, the rooms were very spacious. The only downfall is there was no bathtub. If I had a way to steal the bed and bring it home, I would’ve. I also LOVE the fact that you can cast your phone to the tv. I have nothing bad to say about anything. It was a nice little get away.
Fun quick getaway
Stayed at the Omni for a quick getaway and was very pleased with the rooms. A premium King with serious updates (excellent shower, nice desk and comfortable linens) I would definitely recommend this hotel for business travelers and families alike. It’s centrally located within walking distance to many local attractions. The only watch out is the hotel did not seem to have any capacity limit in place as they were packed with a volleyball tournament, but they did have signs recommending social distance and the pool is closed.
Fantastic hotel, empty downtown with many restaurants shut down.

Our room was amazing, hotel staff were the most personable and helpful we have ever encountered. We booked this hotel with our Inspirato Pass (a luxury travel subscription). Unlikely we would have stayed there otherwise. Also unlikely it would have been available without the dearth of tourists at this time.
Location
Spent weekend a lot of places was closed or still boarded up because of protest. Building was still boarded up. Decent little food place in hotel. Rooms were comfortable with big walk in shower. Lobby nice didn’t use pool.
4.5 Stars. (In general, difficult to rate five stars during COVID-19 "times.")
We chose this hotel over a few other 'five star' hotels in town by recommendation from a family member who frequents Louisville often. Reservations are made through an "Omni" site so without knowing this, one might overlook this hotel as an option. We really enjoyed our stay. The manager was quick to get a leaky toilet addressed. It was not able to be fixed while we were there BUT he offered another room or $$$ off of our stay. This was a very nice gesture and appreciated. However, the "wired internet" connection going in-and-out was not able to be fixed. :-( I did try calling twice to the front desk (the phone has no other option) but never received an answer. For THIS issue, I actually blame our "COVID-19" times and not the hotel per se. I spoke to the front desk personally later but it could not be addressed while we were there. It was a bummer when trying to watch live football. The room was very nice with a comfortable bed and pillows. They were able to get me foam pillows which is a must. The shower is a rain-shower head with an additional hand-held. But the BEST feature of the room was the Esteam clothing steamer in every closet instead of an iron. THIS is a much better option! The valet and bellmen were also fantastic! I will come back once COVID-19 prohibitions have relaxed to visit when things are hopping!
