I read the reviews before my travel so I was not surprised. But I e been noticing most hotel cleanliness has need well below acceptable since 2019. My issue with this was the price for this filthy place. I’m going to try to upload pictures to show the brown stains on the comforter, the filth of the air conditioner filters, the missing grout in the shower and the dirt on the towel racks. I arrived at this hotel after several days of working and I started to unpack and get ready for bed so by the time I discovered the dirt it was too late to move. Even the elevators looked like they had not been vacuumed in a long time. Management should explain to me why they charge $269 for this disgusting hotel.

Quite Comfortable

Although I stayed here but one night, I found this room/suite quite comfortable. I liked having more than a simple room, being able to sit on a sofa to read, write or watch TV in a separate room from the bed. This helped in my feeling more at home and making it easier to relax. Everything was most comfortable and, more important, clean. I would have been most comfortable staying longer. The only complaint i have is that there is no restaurant on or close by the premises. I bought pretty much junk food in the lobby.

Good for a quick weekend away!

My wife and I went for a quick weekend trip to Louisville a week ago and this hotel was perfect for the weekend. It's located right near the airport and it's very easy to get to it off of I-65. The check-in and check-out process was extremely easy as it was all on the Marriott app and we even used the virtual key on the app, which was a first for us and very fun to use. The room was clean as well as this is a solid hotel for a quick weekend away.

First, front staff at checkin was amazing and super friendly - I am disappointed in myself for not getting her name (10/07 around 11:30PM) . We stayed one night using our annual certificate. Our room was on the first floor and we did not use any amenities. On entering the room there was a slight musty odor that went away when we kicked on the heat. It was not noticeable after about 5-10 minutes. The facility is older and various parts of the room are showing the need for a remodel, but none impacted our stay. It was clean but wear and tear makes it less appealing than other comparable Marriotts. As a side note, I am a heavy sleeper and my wife is not. She was woken up by the airplanes that started ripping the runway around 6AM. I was not. They do provide earplugs with the room which she used to sleep peacefully the next couple of hours. I slept peacefully all night. If you're a super lite sleeper - this probably isn't your place.

Not Marriott standards... a Franchised hotel

We are Marriott Titanium status members and have never had a disappointing stay at any Marriott over the past 12 years. This room was a dingy, extremely dark ( even with all lights on) first floor room with guests smoking outside our window. I had requested an upper floor. Our stay was for 5 nights. Very overpriced. Over $1300 for 5 nights. We were there for the Bourbon and Beyond music festival. Carpet dirty ( my feet were black after walking on the carpet). Sheets thin, pillows without any form, comforter dirty on edges. Bugs on the bathroom floor. Fan in bathroom not functioning. Light above sink burnt out the night before we checked out. Difficult to charge phones and watch due to loose outlets. HVAC intermittent. Either too cold or too hot. Poor hot food selection for breakfast 2/4 mornings . Lacks security. I did call hotel after our stay and found out this is a FRANCHISED location. NOT OWNED BY MARRIOTT. This property needs a major renovation
