URINE ON THE SHEETS FROM PREVIOUS OCCUPANT!!! HORRID EXPERIENCE.

How to give a ZERO?!?!
Horrid experience. DO NOT STAY HERE. DO NOT STAY AT SUPER 8's ANYWHERE. AND AVOID WYNDHAM PROPERTIES AS MUCH AS YOU CAN!!!
Have traveled the country and the world, have stayed in hotels in the most cosmopolitan cities (New York, Tokyo, Hong Kong), in rural, tucked away corners (google this: Murdo, South Dakota), and everything in between (Dhaka, Bangladesh was notable). I preface this review with the following statement: this was the worst experience I have had at a hotel anywhere, period.
This review covers a one night stay for a family of seven traveling across country on 17-18JUL2021.
First, the corporate reservation rep messed up the reservation. Needed two rooms with two beds each for seven people. Was told that was what I was getting, but upon arrival only had three beds in two rooms. Supposedly that's not possible to do, but it was done, and there were no other rooms to offer to meet the reservation requirement. Wyndham is now past its ten day review to sort that out, but that is what it is...Had to get over it and get some sleep, so...
Next, climbed into bed in the room that had two beds around 1230-1235 and thought, "huh, maybe I've been sweating," only to find there was urine on the sheet from a previous guest! Pulled the sheets back to find it was sizable and quite wet, all the way down to the mattress protector. NOTE: technically, that's a biohazard! And when I called the front desk the only response I received from a completely disinterested representative was, "Housekeeping shows up at 8:00 AM." Totally, totally unsat. One of my kids and I had to sleep on the floor.
Finally, when I lodged my complaint, the front desk said, "Contact Wyndham's Customer Care." So I did, and they took it all down. And then, hours after I had checked out the manager of the hotel contacted me directly to accuse me of making it up just to get out of paying the bill. That, by the way, is the definition of harassment.
Wyndham, the corporation, the one's who supposedly handle complaints, said to take up the urine issue with the property directly...the same property where the manager cowardly waited until I was hours down the road to accuse me malfeasance.
So, the corporate reservation line messed up the reservation and the corporation, Wyndham, cannot adjudicate it within their own stated timelines. Then I dealt with the disgusting conditions with absolutely NO care or interest from the one's who exposed me to the biohazard. Finally, corporate "care" department completely discounts harassing communications from their local affiliates, says "work it out yourself" after the local affiliate says to work it out with corporate, and offers no other avenue of redress except for the legal.
Pathetic location, totally indifferent corporation, dysfunctional processes, not worth your money or time.

My daughter and I planned a vacation for a year. Upon arrival at the hotel, we immediately noticed it's smell, and the AC wasn't working in the lobby. The COVID barriers looked like they were built by 7th graders. We got our keys and went to our room. It smelled sour. No carpet on the floor. Just generally not clean appearing. I asked the desk about cancellation, but they said it was "prepaid" and nothing they could do. I called Priceline, who in turn contacted the hotel, and they offered to switch us to another room. I didn't see where that would solve anything. If one room is nasty, they're ALL nasty. This wasn't just in this one room. Since we couldn't get our money back, we elected to suck it up and stay. As it turned out, there was no maid service, if you needed towels or toilet paper you had to go get it. They smelled sour, too. After enduring the stay, and getting back home, we discovered we both have BED BUGS. Neither Priceline or Super 8 will refund since we did not take the alternate room that was offered. Needless to say, we won't be booking with Priceline OR staying at a Super 8 ever again.
Good location, not a bad hotel

This unit was in my price range, great location and I really can't complain about the room. Its less than a half mile down from Churchill Downs, very close to the interstate and has eating places within walking distances. If i wanted to complain about something, I would say that the breakfast is a little lacking. Cereal and milk, and bread for toast. But I love Raisin Bran so I'm not Not a great hotel, but if you want to save a little here you can spend more there.
4 night stay

This Super 8 is very convenient if you are looking to stay near Kentucky Kingdom amusement and water park, Churchill Downs and Kentucky Derby Museum. They are about a mile away. This motel has no pool, and breakfast was not a option due to COVID. Only juice and coffee. I felt safe while staying here, they do lock the main door after 11PM, which you need your room key to enter.
Front desk clerk was friendly, and easy checkin. I had no problems with noise, it was actually very quiet, the only problem I had was the AC took awhile to kick in and cool the room. The bathroom light stopped working on my last night, but overall ok stay. They do have a elevator which helps. All rooms are interior corridor.
There are several places to eat within a 2 mile radius. A Cracker Barrell, Arbys and Burger King are all within walking distance, and a few others down the road before you hit Churchill Downs. Motel is very close to airport and freeway. I would stay again.
Bug bites in bed
Reviewed 4 January, 2020
My girlfriend and I got a room for New Years. She woke up the next morning with a bug bite on her ankle. We originally thought it was a blister but it got more red, swollen, itchy, & painful for her after we checked out and throughout the trip home. Gross! Must have came from the bed.
