Happy to be here

This was a very lucky find. The beginning of the Lockdown and my previous hotel had closed, I was fortunate to find this one. Very friendly and helpful reception staff. Found everything very satisfactory. Had Room 409. Spacious with French windows that looked out to a beautiful view to the town. There was a kitchenette with sink, hotplate, microwave, fridge. Everything self sufficient. A small refundable deposit for kitchenware. It was ideal. The only disappointing thing was the free wifi was not working properly when I was there. With the Lockdown it couldn't be fixed straight away. However they did let me try to connect to their work network available in the foyer. Very thoughtful. It was a very good find and a pleasurable stay.

We stayed here in June 2019. The hotel is old and needs updated. However, it might be reasonable for what we payed. The front desk staffs are pretty lovely, nice and friendly. They made our stay enjoyable.

Awful

We arrived late at night. We had booked for 6 nights. There was Brown marks on the walls. The door handle was hanging off and the cupboard door was broken. There was a horrible smell.and the noise was horrendous. I checked out as soon as reception opened and paid to go elsewhere.

GREAT DISAPPOINTMENT!!

We are returning guests after our previous two stays. This time we booked an apartment for 5 adults thinking that we can have a more spacious and comfortable stay, and a more user friendly kitchenette. Unfortunately it was our worst nightmare. The unit is supposed to have 3 beds in the bedroom and a twin-sofa bed in the common area. We just could not use the sofa bed to sleep on as it is in a horrible condition. The kitchenette is terrible. We thought that after so much was said about the renovation and upgrading, in fact nothing was upgraded except the name. Previously entry to the unit is by using a key, yes, they did upgrade it to keyless entry using touchcard. We still have a small bar fridge. The microwave oven is super high up the ceiling on the shelf, and so is the hot water kettle. Utensils provided are of all shapes and sizes and mismatched culteries. There is no ceiling light, except the wall light and table light which makes the place very gloomy. There was no house-keeping until we demanded that we needed more bath/shampoo sachettes and toilet rolls and our towels need to be changed and the trash need to be taken out. The wifi is not working at all. You practically need to sit downstairs in the lobby or sit outside in the balcony in the cold (our apartment is on the 2nd floor just above the reception area) in order to get connection. Even that, the connection will just simply dropped within a few seconds. We have enough of this place.
