Great People at TRU! Specifically Mikael at the front desk!
I am a Hilton Diamond member because I travel so much. A friend of mine calls this the badge of loneliness. Sometimes checking in is robotic, but sometimes you get folks like Mikael at the front desk who make your hotel stay feel a little more like home. Mikael is friendly and accommodating and bends over backward to assist. Kudos to MIkael and TRU Lubbock!
Don’t do it!
This place is a trap. While the lobby is innovative and modern, the rooms lack closets, dressers, a large desk, a fridge and a coffee machine. The only coffee available was at breakfast and was stale. There was no decaf or hot water for tea. Plus, breakfast was a bag of stuff; no hot food or anything fresh. As a Gold Level member, I thought I would try a Tru, just for a change. Never again; it’s back to Hilton Garden Inn and Homewood Suites!
Preset alarms!
Basic hotel. Friendly staff and clean accommodations. Very comfy bed. Check to make sure the alarm isn’t set. Ours went off at 6 am as did the one in the vacant room next door, which rang for 15 minutes.
Nice Hotel
Hotel was nice enough. Seemed fun for kids with the games. Highly disappointed many of the hand sanitizer dispensers were empty and there were no sanitizing products for the gym at ALL. Mattresses were extremely soft.
Great stay
Clean hotel, great employees, fantastic stay. Employee’s made me feel safe during the storm that blew through. Room was super clean and bed was beyond comfortable! Loved that I didn’t have to pack my shampoo and conditioner! The in shower dispensers are awesome!
