Great Stay and Service
This property gave a warm and friendly welcome for to a family of weary travelers passing through Lufkin on our way home. Melissa went well out of her way to make our stay one of the best in a long time. The room was very very clean and spacious. Outside in the parking area, the property was well lit and gave you a safe feeling, and inside the lobby was very neat and clean. Again a very warm and gracious welcome from Melissa made us feel right at home. Great stay with exceptional service!
Nice Stay
This hotel is nice. The Lobby is modern and there are newer aspects to the room. The bathrooms are still in need of renovation, but very usable. While we love Marriotts, Courtyards are not our favorite because they do not offer complementary breakfasts, tea, etc. However, since there was not another Marriott in the area we stayed. Staff was friendly and accommodating. Although the property is situated near many restaurants, we ordered in. The burgers and fries were surprisingly very, very good! I would stay again if in the area.
Clean and friendly
I was very impressed with this hotel. The staff were all super-friendly, the food was good, and the room was large and extremely clean. We enjoyed a one-room suite because traveling with my two preteen girls requires a bit more space (they tend to annoy each other to no end). It was perfect for our little family.
Never Again
The beds are horrible just plain steel. I have never stayed at a Courtyard with these types of beds. I will never do so again at this location. No rest on at all. You would do better sleeping in your car. The app is nice if only it were useful at this property meaning they respond. This property is overpriced for the area as well. The decor is modern which is nice but the bathroom reveals major issues looking at huge cracks in ceiling and base boards. You have to go to the front desk for everything. Disappointment doesn’t begin to describe this place. It is unusually humid for this area. I’ve stayed at other hotels in the same area during the same week and month no humidity issues.

Stayed two nights for the first of what will be several business trips to Lufkin. Room was clean, comfortable, and spacious. Lobby was nice. All the staff I dealt w/ were professional and helpful. Hotel was in an area convenient to restaurants. I will stay here again on future trips. Very pleased w/ my stay.
