Drug and Prostitution Activity
Reviewed 20 February, 2020
Prostitutes fighting for customers outside in parking lot, and others engaging in drug related activity. People kept coming in and out of room upstairs and would come out with small packages and do drug activity inside their cars in parking lot. Checked in early about 5pm. Our plan was to rest and resume our trip the next morning but it turned out to be impossible. We ended up checking out about 1 or 2 am due to the horrible conditions this place is in. I do not recommend this place for absolutely anyone.
Only reason I am leaving 1 start is because leaving 0 is not possible

The good - the women at the front desk was super nice and I didn’t get murdered.
The bad - everything else. The room was disgusting. I have low expectations when I stay in a hotel off 95 for the night. This place lowered the bar. There were roaches, the bathroom looked like it had never been cleaned, paint was peeling off the walls, and the windows prevented outside noise from coming into the room similar to a screen.
You are probably asking yourself why I even stayed and that is a fair question. I checked in after midnight after driving all day. I really needed a few hours of sleep. And that is what I got. I was out of the room before 6:30 in the morning. The place was so dirty that I refused to shower before I left.
Do not stay here. I don’t care how low the rate is. It isn’t worth it. You are better off sleeping in your car for a few hours at a rest stop.
House of horrors!

Run! Live and dead bugs (live ones crawling all over our ice box, trying to get in), incessant traffic noise from the too close freeway, dirty beyond words, tiny room and beds... I am a usually very positive person and I love to travel. I have been to the most remote places in the world, but cannot find a single good word here for this dump. At least wipe the dead creepy crawlers from the floor! After driving for 12 hours, I asked for a quiet room and end up with the one closest to the highway. The WiFi kept turning off so impossible to send anything. No really not a pleasant experience.

I have stayed hundreds of nights in various Motel 6's and Studio 6's and have always had a great experience... Until now.
I had a reservation guaranteed with a credit card. I was driving home to FL from NJ, checking in 6/5/18 checking out 6/6/18. I arrived at 12:30am. I give the woman at the front desk my name and she says she has no room reservation (I don't know her name as she wasn't wearing a name tag and never offered it). I pull out my confirmation and show it to her. She says, no problem we have rooms we can get you one. I ask her to make sure I get the rate in my reservation. She tells me that no I can't have that rate I have to have the rate as if I just walked in the door.
I explain that it is not my fault they lost my reservation and they should honor the price. She tells me it is the fault of whoever I booked through for not entering the reservation. But I explain I booked direct though the Motel6 website, so she tells me to call the reservation line. I do that, and this is my favorite part, they put me on hold and call HER! She tells them that her general manager cancelled the reservation (not what she told me) and that she won't honor the price. He comes back on the line and says there is nothing he can do. So please explain to me why she told me to call in the first place.
Then she tells me there is a Motel6 3 exits away I should try there. Why would they honor my reservation if the location I made it at won't? It is now about 1am I've been driving all day and am tired. She tells me that the mistake wasn't her fault so she shouldn't have to solve it. I tell her that it is the fault of Motel6 and she is their representative and should make it right. She then accuses me of lying on the reservation by saying it was for 1 person to get a lower rate (I was traveling with my husband). I show her the reservation again and it clearly says 2 adults. After reviewing the reservation a second time she realizes that she can match the rate, plus tax. Yes, I knew the reservation had tax, it said so right on the confirmation.
If she bothered to read it the first time we could have saved 40 min of my time. But all she was interested in was deflecting blame and encouraging me to go away.
So now it is 1:10am. We get to the room and get to bed (not the room type I reserved, she didn't have any). Then at 2:10am the room phone rings and wakes me up, no one on the line. Then at 2:17am it happens again, this time I leave the phone off the hook. I am quite certain it was the girl at the front desk being petty.
What a filthy, "rent by the hour" kind of place!!!

Had to stay here on way back from FL to MD - it accepted pets and we had 3 dogs. The room had a non-smoking sign on it but it had been changed to a smoking room - that stench was horrible to endure.
The bathroom was old, needing painted and thorough cleaning - the floor was stained, old, and all beat up as well.
I slept in my clothes and we left as early as possible the next morning. If you have animals, find another place!
Above our room people were coming in and out all night - I think the local prostitutes work out of this place - and they were above us all night.
This is a LOW CLASS outfit that runs the place and keeps the place AVOID AT ALL COSTS !!!!
