We live La Quinta Lynchburg, we don't stay anywhere else when we're in town for work. The staff is always friendly. We love working with Cathy, for all of our business trips in the area. La Quinta Lynchburg has given out business a great business rate, we can't get anywhere else.

Confused and not a relaxing stay

I reserved a suite at this hotel from Dec 27 to 31. When I arrived, the last suite available, room 215, was left unclean with the door jambed open and master bed unmade. I had to relocate to rooms 509 and 511 for the first night, while being charged for both the suite and the new room, since there were 2 people in my party and we needed separate living quarters. For the last 3 nights, I was put in room 515, a suite, but never could find management to explain the double charge for the first night. Sadly, while in room 515, the master bath toilet leaked every time my friend flushed and maintenance had to come in and repair that while we were out. Now, after arriving home and checking my statement on my credit card, I can see that I was charged the original amount over two reservations. Very confusing. Having someone to talk to while I was there would have saved a ton of angst. I felt that due to the room change, lack of cleanliness, readiness and confusing lodging bill the hotel should've compensated me in some measure for the inconvenience and frustration. Since they didn't, I have no choice but to assign a poor review.

Beware: Pet Fee

This LaQuinta is reasonable quality for the price and allows pets. But unlike any other LaQuinta where I've stayed, at check in I was charged a pet fee after stating that we had our small dog with us. This fee was not disclosed on their website (or if it was it must have been in a hidden location because I always look when picking a hotel. The $25 is less than some hotel chains charge, but if like me you stay at LaQuinta because it is pet friendly and without a pet fee, be forewarned. Also, while the room was nice, the shower/toilet room was the smallest I've ever seen and the toilet was seriously low to the floor.

Online reservation said rollaway would be available. They are NOT available at this property. A team of some sort was in the hotel. Parents and children were very loud very late in the lobby and hall. I guess because they were not belligerent when staff asked them to be quiet or destroying the property there was little that could be done about the noise.

Not What I Expected...

My family had stayed there multiple times before (pre-covid) with no problems. This time, though, the room/bathroom was dirty, they could not find my room reservation, there was a bug crawling on the wall, hallway smelled of weed, the ice looked questionable... Yikes. Will stay a place a little higher quality next time...
