At the heart of the city centre of Lyon, the Mercure Lyon Centre Beaux-Arts hotel is a beautiful 19th-century building, located in a district classified as a UNESCO World Heritage site. An extended range of Lyonnaise gastronomy restaurants can be found less than 100 m from the hotel. Benefiting from a central location, close to the Part-Dieu and Perrache TGV stations and 30 km from the airport, this address is ideal for discovering Lyon.

A Vacation from a Vacation

While visiting in France I wanted to ride the high speed train from Paris to Lyon, a reasonable distance in a reasonable amount of time. I Google liked the location of the Beaux Arts, I loved the location during our stay . . . shops, bistros, activities. The staff members were quite personable and helpful, the corner room on the top floor was perfect. Truly, a wonderful hotel.

We loved our stay here! The Prestige room was large and comfortable with a great little balcony overlooking the beautiful city of Lyon. The location is perfect for walking around and is close to many great restaurants. We’ll definitely stay here next time we visit Lyon. We also highly recommend dinner at Burgundy by Matthieu, which is in walking distance and absolutely delicious.
Comfortable Lyon City Centre Accommodation

The Hotel Mercure Lyon Centre Beaux Arts is centrally located in Lyon. The room was spacious, clean and modern, offered all amenities you would expect from a four-star hotel. The hotel has implemented a strict Covid-19 concept and policy which at times seems weird and confusing. The reception at arrival was not very welcoming nor providing important information without me asking for it. However, during my stay and upon check-out, receptionists were friendly and supportive. The breakfast room is far too small for a hotel of this size and with a Covid-19 concept imposed, staff are stressed and customers confused. Breakfast as such was rich and good.

Well situated in centre. The privilege room was large and comfortable. The breakfast room is small so sometimes crowded but the selection was good. All the staff were pleasant and helpful. There is an underground car park nearby and this is expensive. Many restaurants within a few minutes walk.

We recently spent three nights at the Mercure and it was a perfect base for our first time visiting Lyon! The hotel is centrally located and easy to walk to from the metro station at Place Bellecour. The staff is welcoming and very helpful! Our room was large with a small balcony overlooking the city and a comfortable bed. It is an easy walk to Vieux Lyon, shops, restaurants, museums...basically anything you would want to do or see in Lyon. We would definitely stay there again and highly recommend to anyone visiting Lyon!
