No service, no explanation!

Nice view & great discounted rate since the season just ended BUT no breakfast as advertised, not very clean, broken lock on sliding door to balcony, no one at the office at 6:30 when my husband went down to get coffee. Coffee not available until about 7:30. At 9 when we went to check out the office was locked from inside & outside with sign up stating the office was closed! There were about 10 cars in the lot indicating several of us were staying there….no service whatsoever- crazy!

Great location, good service, clean place, nice pool, nice hot tub and …horrible quality of the internet connection. If you don’t have to work during your stay(I had to do it), this hotel is good for you. It's close to many attractions. RomanP
Mackinaw City stay

The over all visit was good. The pool was nice. The hot tub needs work. No railing to get in and out of the hot tub which is dangerous. Front staff could be friendlier. Breakfast was a joke. A very unpleasant grab and go bag with a small bottle of water, small granola bar, small tasteless apple. We had to wait for an unpleasant employee to make coffee.
Great location hotel was a little tired.

My wife and I stayed in this hotel purely for its location. We were walking distance to the boat for Mackinac Island. Like many other reviews this hotel is a little bit tired but the staff definitely made up for that. At check-in they told us exactly how to get onto the boat and some of the better restaurants in the area. That evening we did the bus tour of the city that was okay. Complementary breakfasts was basically nonexistent which is the other way that we pick hotels wanting to get a quick hearty breakfast.
Staff Friendly Hotel in disrepair

First the staff was friendly and the room was clean though severely outdated. The big problem with this property is the overall condition of the building. Pieces have fallen off the outside and there was weeds growing in the gutters. Also though the water in the hot tub look clean and clear the surface of the tub was stained. This property appears as if there hasn't been any maintenance for years.
