It was convenient to the highway and nice to have easy access to the car and walking the dogs. Least satisfying was the poor selections at breakfast. 2 cereals, honey buns, some sort of orange drink (not OJ), coffee, tea or hot chocolate.

This is a recently refurbished hotel located just off of I 475. It is clean and newly outfitted and easy to get to. It is just a short drive into Macon and there are many good restaurants nearby. The staff is nice and the hotel is pet friendly.
Best case scenario: Passable. Worst case scenario: Awful

When I checked in, there was an older man lamenting to the front desk attendant that last year someone had broken into his trailer in the hotel parking lot. Apparently it held some 40,000 dollars in Motorcycles and some 18 firearms. Apparently the older man got lucky that the front desk attendant went out to smoke at 3a.m. or the theft would have been completed. The first non-smoking room I got had been very recently smoked in. The guy at the front desk was happy to provide us a different room. This room was passable. It hadn't been thoroughly cleaned, but didn't take long to address ourselves. The room smelled a little funky but it wasn't anything a candle and some air circulation couldn't help substantially. We avoided using the restroom as much as possible because it didn't seem particularly sanitized. Honestly, I was just happy to have a bed without any bugs in it. A 1 night stay wasn't too bad, but if I had to stay literally any amount of time beyond that, it would be a hard pass. The extra 20-30 bucks for a better hotel would be well worth it.
Exceeded all expectations.
