close to centre, clean, good service
spacious room (double room), nice and clean, old furniture but well maintained. situated in madrid centre, plaza de sevilla on a back alley, steps away from metro station friendly staff. definitely recommend.
Quietly located hotel
Upon arrival, I was informed immediately... Unfortunately no WiFi.... Good start I thought. Luckily the problem was solved within 2 hours and it was still possible for me to work a little. Furthermore, there is little to say about it. I don't want to say that it is a moderate hotel, but the hotel interior has had its best time. Hopefully they will renew something here. The location is top in the center of Madrid. The hotel itself is located in a side street and has no special appearance. The breakfast is not special, and the waiters don't pay much attention to you. Too bad. Next time I will look for another hopefully better place. Do you just want to sleep one night? Nothing wrong with that!
Great hotel very close to Madrid's best attractions and the subway
The hotel is extremely well located near Plaza de España and the Gran Vía, really next door to a subway station. It takes 40 mins to get to the airport by subway. Other than this, the room was rather small, but the bathroom really OK, great breakfast, excellent free wifi. Staff very nice and helpful, everything very clean. There was nothing I really didn't like. Except the room could have been somewhat bigger and better kept (spots on the walls). Other than this there are no complaints.
Good but does need updating
Overall the bed was very comfortable and for that they deserve 4 out of 5. I did however find one or two hairs in the bed, also the over throw/ top blank needs to be replaced, there was some stains underneath it I noticed when I moved it to get into bed, theres a possibility they were blood. I go room service and the burger was excellent! I will also point out that the rooms need more outlets especially closer to the bed! I couldn’t use my phone if it was charging because the outlet was so far away beside the fridge. Location is very close to a metro station which allows you to travel all over Madrid! I would likely return.
Very bad experience
Very bad experience hotel very old doesn’t worth the money no outlets in the rooms . The front desk call the rooms to complain about us talking . Can hear everything through the walls No privacy really don’t understand how this hotel is 4 stars .
