Very Poor
I used to stay in this hotel almost four months per year as im a Platknum number of this Chai. This Hotel is not even close to any Courtyard Marriot in any part of the World. Its a very old building with the worse managament. Thanks to the brand that we have many other alternatives to go with to better choices in the beautiful city of Madrid. Enrique Castillo
THE PLACE TO STAY IN MADRID
I have been there already two times, once with my friends and it was so good that I decided to go also with my girlfriends and the Princesa team did not let me down. Amazing service. The room was super nice with all kind of amenities and details. We had a Level room and we were able to get to limited areas in the hotel. The service was just exquisite. The hotel is super centric and it is definitely the hotel I will visit the next time I visit Madrid.
NOT Impressed
Very disappointing - not located close to any tourist sites (30 min walk the closest). The hotel is in a very loud area and you hear everything outside, in the halls, & other rooms. Housekeeping starts very early so you are woken up with them banging on doors as early as 7am. The bathroom is terrible - it's the most narrow room I've ever dealt with. You can not open the shower door bc the sinks are up against it and there is ~3-4 inches bw the toilet and the wall. Amenities: very few electrical outlets (none in the bathroom); hair dryer is very old & weak w 1 speed (have to hold the button continuously for it to work); small refrigerator but stocked w items to purchase; no clock; wake up calls were unreliable (didn't even call one morning). No ability to control temp in room & only has a weighted blanket on the bed (no sheet) so very warm.
Good hotel in the city center
My son, my father, and I stayed here for two nights with a tour group. The location is near sights, restaurants, and shopping. The rooms were comfortable. The breakfast buffet was excellent. The staff was welcoming. Meeting rooms were adequate for our purpose.
Nice visit, friendly staff.
Stayed here 3 nights as part of a tour with 39 friends..it wasn’t an issue we weren’t right in the old town as we were part of a tour and had a bus to take us to most attractions..the room was spacious and clean but they forgot to replace our was washcloths. Breakfast buffet had many choices...the coffee was delicious...one small issue some of the items on the breakfast buffet was always cold. The bar staff was amazing and so friendly....nice to unwind with them after a busy day in Madrid.
