Great clean, modern hotel on a superb location. Highly recommended, not too expensive. Great chain of hotels where you can never go wrong on any of them. This one in particular got it for good price that week. All of their hotels are modern, super clean, and wonderful.
Do not expect wonders unless you upgrade!!

Came to the hotel for 4 days with my partner. We paid for a standard room as the pictures looked lovely. I should have know there would be a catch, when I entered the room I realised that our window looked out to a large sheet of fabric and behind that was some kind of construction going on. Now when I say construction I mean a full building age I top of a roof with cranes, drilling, banging, shouting. With the window closed it was still loud but the worst thing was having to look at that everyday day. E and for our room to be changed but I was shown a quieter room looking into the front of the street however it was dark and narrow, and there would have been nowhere to put two suitcases. I asked to see another room and was shown a room which looked out onto a some kind of void. There was a plain cement concrete walled area which you could not even see the sky. The room was so dark and dingy so I went back to reception to ask if is any possibility for a room which a) I won’t be woken up by construction workers at 8am and and B) I can actually see the sky/daylight. I was finally told that rooms like that exist but only for people who are willing to pay extra. It was £22 per night extra for a superior. Don’t expect normal tea as they don’t provide it, not even a normal coffee. Also there is a bar that does not open, so there will be no late night tipples for anyone. The room is nice but the amenities which the hotel offers is not great. Personally I would not book this hotel I sgain, very Veicy: not great
Dangerous / managers think they work in an office / only 1 staff at reception that doesn't speak English / old hotel / con artis

There are no managers at any Vincci hotel in Madrid on weekends. Never! One of them supposed to be on call the weekend, but when members of staff call them, they don't answer their phones! If the hotel or somewhere nearby catches fire If, there's a terrorist attack, or if a customer catches covid and instead of isolating, decides to walk around the hotel, you might have a single staff at the reception that barely speaks English to deal with the issue and to call all rooms for the evacuation. These hotels are dangerous as they don't take hospitality seriously. If they don't have enough staff to run the hotel on weekends, they should shut the hotel. I'll speak with the Fire Brigade Office and with the Consumer Rights Office about them.
The old men at the reception (Jose Luis and Javier) are rude, patronising and they barely speak English. Sometimes they're alone at the reception for a whole shift and there's absolutely no one else to talk to. The call centre say they can't help as they only do reservations. Other hotels from the same chain (Vincci Mint) say they'll help, they ask you to tell them everything that happen, to then not help at all. Manager Laura Martín Nuñes from Vincci Centrum lies blatantly, going against what several members of staff from her hotel and other hotels said. When I asked her why there were no managers on call and on site today, she said, and I quote "There's none of your business". More rude impossible. Yes, it is indeed my business, I pay her salary but I'm in a hotel with no manager. The manager "on call" today was Francisco de Borja Plans Lamarca. He repeatedly refused to answer the call and refused to call me back. Arrogant people that wouldn't get a job to clean the streets in a developed country. Irresponsible managers that enjoy their weekends while customers at the hotel are told to forever wait for them or for their calls.
Regarding the rooms, unless you book a room with city view, you have no view at all. All rooms called Double Rooms have no view at all. Their windows get into courtyards that are so dark and damp, you can see if it's day or night, sunny or raining. There's an enormous wall, 2m away from the room's window. Pictures attached. They don't say that on their website that the rooms have no view of the outside space at all, and this is misleading.
Cleanliness: the TV remote control was full of something brown that I really hope was chocolate. The "extra cleaning" because of covid, stated on their website, is a lie. Pictures of the tissues used to clean the remote control attached.
They say it's a renovated hotel, I'd say they renovated the rooms at least 20 years ago, as all the corners are scratched/look disgusting. At the corridors you really notice the hotel is actually quite old. It's not at all a 4* hotel, which is also misleading. They're all cons. Pictures attached.

But try to complain and you'll lose a whole day trying to do it, with no compensation. A room with a city view is not compensation. If I wanted a room with a city view, I would have booked one. I want a compensation for the 3 international calls I made and 1/5 of my commutting costs, as I'll have to commute again to recover the day I lost dealing with them. Laura refused to do it. I wrote to the local news about them and I hope they get exposed as the con artists as they are.

Most of all great location right in the city center near to the most active places at night.
If you're traveling by car you can easily park at Sevilla Parking.
Nice and confortable hotel with great interior design and very confortable rooms.
Staff was friendly helpful and nice.
Pitty the bar downstairs was closed, I think due to Covid restrictions.

Although strange that they don’t do Dinner! They have a very good breakfast and the bar area is nice and relaxing and very clean. Staff were also very helpful and spoke English ish. The position of the hotel is very central so easy access to restaurants and meeting areas, my first time in Madrid but would have no problem returning.
