Great Rate, Clean, Quiet & all Amenities :)
Simple but clean & comfortable at this classic New England motel. Greeted by friendly desk staff - we had a cozy, warm room with parking right outside the door. The bed was soft with a firm foundation and all room facilities/electronics worked perfectly. Trees out back were beautiful but not much scenery in front. We slept well and neighbors were quiet. Walls are a bit thin so could be a problem if next door guests are noisy. Breakfast had all basic choices plus delicious, make your own waffles & strawberries ** Rate was best in area --- will return :)
Basic but fine
We spent a comfortable night here on our trip along the coast. It was clean, comfortable, and surprisingly roomy. It is a great choice for the price. The decor is plain, but it had a good bed, sink and small kitchenette facilities, and a cold breakfast buffet.
Worst place I’ve ever stayed
If I could leave zero stars I would. We arrived and the room had no wifi and the phone in the room didn’t work. There was a very strong chemical smell in the room that gave me a headache. When we complained, they offered us another room but when we went to look at it, the door was covered in massive spiders so we didn’t even want to go inside. Ended up leaving and finding somewhere else. If there are any other options available, don’t choose this place.
Amazing Find - great location for visiting Freeport and experiencing some local food sports
Our family and my in-laws stayed in one of the suites (that have a small kitchen) in the back building. Plenty of space, appliances worked well, AC was good, beds comfortable. Housekeeping staff keeps everything very nice. The front desk person when we checked in said that her family owns/lives on the property and you can tell they put a lot of love into the operation. Even the breakfast had very personal touches - fresh strawberries, bananas and apples along with waffles, cereals, etc. Much better than expected. Make sure to check out Schutty's seafood (food truck) down the road and fielders choice ice cream just down the road.
Dirtiest place I’ve ever been
This was the dirtiest place ever and full of bugs. The only reason I stayed is there was no rooms anywhere else in Bath and Brunswick. Then when I complained they charged my credit card 159.00 a night instead of the $94 it was supposed to be. Complete nightmare
