Simple and Nice
Very nice hotel with excellent service ! Nice quiet room , very good location! Staff very helpful and nice, everything is well organized and proper ! Feels like the do a lot for you to do little ! Thank you guys !
Costly to get to by taxi. 19 euros during night and 15 back to airport during day. Whacking 34 euros RIP OFF FOR 5 MIN
Room comfortable and good shower. Taxis extortionate. Not good for breakfast. Handed a bag with 2 ham rolls, donut, sachet of honey and banana. I am vegetarian. Ham was replaced with cheese that tasted like goats cheese. Did not like. I asked for a tomato. They had none. Was given tomato sauce. Not good enough breakfast. Covid no excuse. Coffee was lovely.
Seriously Disappointed
We had a room booked here, and obviously were unable to use it as they have their borders closed to Americans. We tried multiple times to cancel and get our money back, and they refused. Another Holiday Inn we had booked (in Boston) allowed us to cancel and refunded us but this location told us that we were just out the money. When we reschedule this trip when things reopen, we will definitely not choose this hotel. Seriously disappointed with this hotel’s policies and customer service.
Positively Surprised!
Due to COVID-19, our car rental and flight arrangements happened at different moments and chose this hotel due to its convenience close to the airport . Hotel staff are very friendly and helpful. The bar/restaurant service is excellent! The cook is young & creative. The food is no doubt tasty. Guided by the waitress’ recommendations we loved the chicken wings, the yummy homemade hamburger, the fried eggplant with honey, the tomatoes with ventresca and the veggies soup cream. Wines selection also hit the target! The kitchen service in the hotel positively surprised us all - 3 adults and a 10-yr old boy- and merit to be have the word spread around.
Beware !!
The hotel itself is usual Holiday Inn quality, however, the catering is leased out to a third party. First I became aware of it was someone hammering on my door for payment for my meal and a bottle ke Of wine !! There is nothing to say the catering is leased out, the food that I had (club sandwich with fries can only be described as a tarted up bacon and egg sandwich with ding ding sauteed potatoes, not good nor enjoyable. Hotel fine, but allowing their reputation to be affected by a mediocre franchise or rental catering operation. I will be taking my observations further, as this type of operation negatively affects the whole Holiday Inn brand
