Nice rooms but terrible breakfast

I and my wife spent the night there during a visit to Malmö. The rooms are very nice but the smart tvs are limited to iOS devices which was the first negative surprise. We're looking forward to enjoying a good breakfast with a view the day after. But seriously, the breakfast was such a disappointment that we will never return. Sad because the view, the staff and the rooms were very good.
Cheap and impressive

Our room was extremely cheap and for what we got I was extremely impressed. the rooms are decorated in a similar style to Ace Hotel and were clean, large, minimalist and modern.
The best part about our room, was that view over the harbour and the full length window, made our room very special.
The breakfast again was an experience, situated on top of the building with an outdoor terrace, again the views were amazing.
The food at breakfast was not as good as the rest of the experience, however considering our room was pretty much the price of a nice hostel, I will overlook this!!
Thanks for our stay. We shall return.

This was really a depressing experience. A dark room with no comfortable furnitures. Cheap products in the bathroom. Breakfast served in a bag (Corona style, of course a necessary precaution) but oh boy was it small and boring.
So all together, including reception personnel that avoided any engagement in their guests, we really have nothing to recommend. Not the story the hotel aimed for I guess.

Why you getting 1.0 from me:
On line communication was limited, last message on booking.com wasn’t even respond.
Reception staff was rude, incompetent and couldn’t care less.
After several emails, I have been left without solution, upset and highly disappointed for level of service.
Lack of knowledge across whole company, about situation about Corona virus- even if Sweden banned non-EU flights
( coming from UK as common knowledge is that Great Britain is no longer part of EU ) I was still asked to travel to Malmo-
closest airport Copenhagen was closed almost week before.
By Train is taking more than one day.
Nobody allowed me to change a date of stay, or refund.
This is not a hospitality, and five star service for the price that you pay.
This is not a way how you treat your guest.
This is not how you operate.

I stayed here and had two rooms (as my family was stating in another room). They got a good room but mine had problems with the sink leaking and had no soup/shampoo in the shower. I didnt have time to complain but pobably thet would have fixed me another better room (hence in reality I think they deserve 4 stars rating). The breakfast was good and the view from the breakfast place was fantastic.
