Excellent service
Excellent service team .. thanks to Paul, Vimal and Reshma. I stayed there for 16 days and they where always helpful. Satisfied by the hotel cleanliness and service. Breakfast is also excellent and location is also in the center of city

stayed there for 2 days , overall its great,all the staff is friendly and welcoming.From the concierger,restaurant staff and the cleaning staff.But house keeping supervisor Lokesh requested me to give him alcohol.I denied
Not bad hotel.....
Hotel is Beautiful inside and out. Just a quick review here as I didnt 'hate' it. I just wouldn't go back. Hotel is lovely and real modern.... unless u get forced into a smoking room where u cant breathe. The room was dirty, yellow and STANK of smoke. Told me I couldn't change room as they were full, even though I specifically asked for a non smoking room from which I got bed bug bites. Pool was under construction with no prior warning given during booking. DO NOT use the shuttle bus unless u want to die. The driver hates his job and his life also I think as he drives 648484mph everywhere! All other staff are FANTASTIC and the food at both restaurants were amazing. All in all not a bad stay but the Sheriton is across the road.... just stay there. I will be next time.
Poor standard, old rooms
This place was probably 5 stars back in the 80s but looks like it hasn't been renovated since then. Rooms look old, bedsheets and towels look worn out. The bathrooms are extremely small with old smelly showers. That's no 5 star standard, especially for the gulf region! The first hotel which would make you pay every dinner in cash or with card instead of booking it to your room. Overall poor experience, wouldn't recommend staying here.
12 Days Stay At Golden Tulip
I stayed there for 12 days, overall its great, all the staff is friendly and welcoming!! From the concierge, restaurant staff and the cleaning staff. Overall the stay was delightful and every body just smiles and helps. I only tried the breakfast and really enjoyed the food and the diversity. The only thing that I might suggest is adding a smoke ventilation to smoking rooms as the room tend to smell after a cigarette or two.
