Wonderful place
We were in this hotel with my husband. We spent 2 wonderful weeks. Our holiday was really great. A lot of food,sun and good mood. The rooms were large and comfortable, our housekeeping cleaned very good. Also I want to say thanks to guest relation and to reception for helping us. The service was on the top. We wI'll come here again and again.
Definitely not 5 stars
Some of the staff very rude, especially the bell boy at the arrival who was almost aggressive and frustrated when showing the room (after taking me to the wrong floor first). Rooms tired, bed hard as well as pillows. Food very average, drinks cheapest quality, no real coffee either, just the poor machine stuff. Pool area quite small, beach a bit far away. Outside of hotel just bazaars and other hotels, nothing authentic. I will definitely choose another hotel next time.
Not a 5 star hotel
I’ve just came back from our holiday in this hotel. 95% of guests were Russian and I had a feeling that the staff was focused mostly on them. Russian music most of the time. There is not many activities for children, the entertainment team focused more on adults then kids and teenagers ( our kids age ranges from 8 to 15). The food was very tastful but boring, i had a feeling I was eating the same food each day. Staff is nice and friendly but don’t speak english. The restaurant ala carte is for extra charge, 5€ per person and not much advertised which is a shame. For 5* hotel i would expect few restaurants jn the hotel and for free. The pool bar and lobby bar- you won’t find proper drinks there (both alcoholic and non-alcoholic). Kids were very dissapointed. Also no real coffee! The rooms are nice and clean. Air condition only in the rooms and not in corridors and in elevators so leaving the room was painful in temperature outside of 38 degrees. I feel very sorry for the cleaners. The SPA... different prices for guests. My friend had a program 1 for 30€ and her daughter had a chocolate face mask in the price. The same program was offered to me for 40€ and no chocolate mask for my daughters... The beach is 10 min walk from the hotel. It was nice but dirty, full of plastic. Not sure if they clean it daily. Beach towels are given at the SPA for a replacement of a car( carda are given at the check in). If you want clean one you are charged 0.5€ per towel. The way to the beach is sometimes smelly, could be improved, there is loads of rubbish in the canal, not many greens around. On the positive side: Look out for turtles in the canal, as there is quite a few of them! 😁
Worst service from hotel staff
From the moment we checked into the hotel, we realised that not a single member of staff at reception could speak a word of English despite its claims as a 5* international hotel? Yet we did not mind at all, we just simply tried our best to communicate as patiently as we could. But what was shocking is that one particular lady who was on her shift at the time, refused to speak to us! She did not even bother to try to at least understand and shoo’d us away very rudely. We continued our holiday as normal, until it was 2 days before our flight home. My mother and baby sister had returned from swimming and realised that the room cards were not working. This happened often so they went downstairs to the lobby to get it sorted, to which they were told that we had all been checked out hence the card not working. Shocked, my mother asked for them to check their database yet even the manager turned round and bluntly told my mum that we had been checked out- end of. Bear in mind my mother was stood there, dripping wet from swimming with a baby! Well to their dismay, turns out, THEY had made a mistake and we were, in fact, supposed to be staying 2 more nights. After we had checked out waiting for our cab to the airport, the same lady from the first day was on shift again. My mother asked about our luggage from the luggage room, the woman instantly became very aggressive and was even bashing her fist on the counter! She began shouting in Turkish at my mother to the point where I had to intervene and ask her to call a colleague. The colleague even apologised on behalf of the woman’s disgusting behaviour. The hotel staff really put a dampener on our holiday from beginning to end, really disappointing. There are many more beautiful hotels in Side that I would definitely urge others to book, and not this particular hotel. The location is awful as it is situated by a dirty and smelly canal on a busy road. Might I add, they don’t even provide an iron! Best believe, I had to go onto Google images just to show them a picture of an iron.
Easter vacation
The hotel reception was very helpful. Our family room is very spacious,clean and with balcony. There's a lot of choices of food, sometimes you get tired of eating :) - No " ICE CREAM Station and very few fruits. -Some of them can not " speak or understand English. 😂😜 Google translate to the rescue👍
