More about the hotel
Cheaper than travelodge with free parking
On arrival the car park has signs saying private parking, all you need tp do is go inside register your car on the screen then the hotel will print you a receipt to put on your dash board. We arrived 2.5 hours early and asked to leave our car there and the hotel was fine with this which was really helpful. We came back later to check in, guy was very friendly. You need the card you paid on as they will ask for it. Ths room was fine, nice you get a hair dryer although wish the cord was longer. The bathroom i think is the smallest i've ever seen in a hotel but did the job. Shower worked fine. You could hear a few noises from the street but nothing major. Heater and fan in the room which is always nice. Extra pillows to if needed. Checkout was easy. We asked to pay to leave our car there until 3ish. She said that was fine its a £5 charge now and gives you until 6pm. A good amount of car park spaces2. Overall i would stay again.
Wouldn’t recommend.
Really unhappy with this stay, if you could call it that as we left before midnight. If you are thinking of staying here please take some ear plugs to block out the noise of just about anything. In around 3-4 hours me and my partner heard what sounded like a stag do having their ‘pre-drinks’, heard an argument between a couple nextdoor to then listening to their bed banging against out wall and all of their unpleasant sex noises. We notified staff twice once for the argument to which a receptionist came upstairs and asked the couple to turn their music down even tho this wasn’t an issue as we hadn’t heard any music but full blown arguments. The second time my partner went down to reception very angrily as we’d been in bed witnessing someone’s very passionate sex to which 2 receptionists came up and stood outside their door for around ‘10minutes’ he said. Which the third time they came up when we was packing our suitcases both men heard the woman’s moaning and basically ran back downstairs. All they could say is there’s nothing to do as it was 10:30pm when we first notified them and it ‘isn’t late’ also he was adamant that there wasn’t an argument and this is because it boiled down once they came up. And they just let us walk out without an apology or anything. Do not recommend unless you are going out on a hen/stag do or for a one night stand.
Great for venues and sightseeing Manchester.. Free parking too
One night stay. Cheap andclean with helpful staff. Our room did not face the road so was quiet but thin wall did not help with some noisy girls next door who to be fair did quite down after a word.. Bargain and would use again if seeing a show at Arena or the Opera House. Both 10 mins easy walk and hotel has Free on site parking. Did not have breakfast as shops nearby.
Stay anytime
Had a girly weekend with daughter for my birthday. Staff very friendly and helpful, gave me extra pillows when I asked. Rooms are cosy but everything provided even hairdryer. Sockets by bed have USB ports so easy phone charging. Free parking is useful as short walk to deansgate and arndale. We had continental breakfast which had a good selection. Would definitely go back.
Nice hotel
Frist time staying at this hotel and all the staff was so nice and helpfull and the room was nice and the shower was good and the room was nice and clean. The bed was nice as all ways have a good night sleep and is about 10min walk to the town so not bad at all.
