More about the hotel
Night away
We stayed before Manchester entered level 3 so the bar was still open. I think the waitress' name was Tashi and she was really friendly. Hayley served us in the restaurant and she was also lovely. We had a gorgeous room and the bed was enormous. One tiny thing - they need a better hair dryer in the room! We stayed on an overnight dinner bed and breakfast deal and it was really good value!
@HOME Food....Amazing!
We ordered an @HOME Sunday Lunch box from the River Restaurant, and it was incredible value. £20pp for 4 courses and the food is restaurant quality. Really easy to follow the instructions and tasted great. I will be trying the dinner package next!
Family time that we’ll never forget.
Our half term holiday was cancelled due to Covid-19 so we booked a couple of nights at The Lowry so that our daughter had a little mini break. Our daughter uses a wheelchair and was able to get around the hotel very well. Our room was beautiful with all of the little extras you expect from a 5 star hotel. We booked breakfast and dinner each night. The food was phenomenal. The service was amazing, making us feel extremely welcome. We did not want to come home and will visit again. You are all doing a fab job at a very difficult time and you made a real difference to our different than planned week.
Still the best
Been staying at the Lowry since 2000 and it is still the biggest and best hotel rooms in Manchester. Contemporary styling, great views and and great art. If you remember the Hacienda days you will love the Lowry.
Great restaurant. Wanted to stay over but £200 non refundable deposit for our little dog!
We live just around the corner and have dined 4 times since Covid restrictions eased. We want to support local business in Manchester. We wanted to book a stay and dine package rather tank visiting another city but were told it required the £200 non refundable deposit for our little dog. He travels with us all the time and this is the most expensive we have ever come across. Dogs of his size stay free at many luxury hotels even Claridges! So we didn't book. Such a shame.
