This is a very good hotel especially for family quarantine. The staff are awesome and the hotel are very good. I strongly recommend this hotel. The location also are easy to access. Food was great and delicious.

Over-All experience was excellent. We felt safe during our quarantine. Hotel Kimberly surely is one of the best place for a quarantine facility. Food was not all perfect for our taste but most are sumptuous enough. I also commend the Hotel for being able to provide all the things that we needed and also exceeding for the things we need. Again, OVER-ALL, the experience was great, I actually recommended your hotel to our family and friends who are about to go home here in the Philippines and needed a quarantine facility to stay. Quarantine Stay at Hotel Kimberly Manila

Overall, I really enjoyed my 9-night stay at Hotel Kimberly primarily because the wifi worked, my room was pretty quiet and the shower had hot water. There was a problem with my room that caused me to need to change rooms after the first night, but the hotel staff was very prompt in responding to my need and switching my room right away. On the whole, the hotel was really quiet and the wifi worked well throughout my stay, which helped me to continue working while in quarantine. Video calls were sometimes spotty, but I could play videos online and do what I needed to do for work. The rooms were also spacious and clean. There is a bucket of basic cleaning supplies in the bathroom for you to use while during your quarantine stay (includes sponge, dishwashing liquid and an all-purpose cleaner), but other toiletries (besides shampoo which was provided) you should bring. I also had the most basic suite, and it came with a mini-fridge and hot water kettle, both of which were helpful. Cashless deliveries were allowed until the ECQ in Manila began on August 6th but then were no longer allowed due to Bureau of Quarantine regulations. I'm not sure if they'll return to allowing cashless deliveries once the ECQ is over, but it would be good to ask if you plan to stay at this hotel. Only 500 mL of water is provided upon arrival, with one refill given at your request, but the hotel does provide options for you to pay for 6L (P200) or 10L (P280) bottles of water, albeit expensive compared to buying outside. To anyone wanting a non-smoking room, I would encourage you to request a non-smoking floor as well to better guarantee there won't be a smell in your room or floor due to cigarette smoke. One of my suggestions to the hotel would be to put soft pads on the bottom of the legs of the desk chairs and chairs for the kitchen table, because you can hear chairs being pulled out in the rooms above you any time someone upstairs is moving around. Making a small change like that would go a long way in providing an even quieter hotel stay. Also, there were times the hotel offered me information about my Covid test results and what to expect when leaving, but only after I asked or a few days after I arrived. It would be more helpful to simply provide a packet with that information that all hotel guests were given at the start of their quarantine stay.

My stay here was great! Staff and service was very prompt and excellent! The rooms are very roomy and clean. I only wish there was a microwave but the kettle was really a big help! Thank you. I wish hotel kimberly all the best and keep up the good work
Room for improvement

The check-in was smooth and staff was very attentive. At first glance, the room looked clean. But as I was in Quarantine for 10 days, I was responsible for keeping the unit clean. When I started sweeping the floor, I saw dust bunnies under the bed and liquid residue on the floor (the room was not mopped before I occupied the said unit. The only bedding was the sheets on the bed; no blanket. The bathroom mirror was not clean either. After taking one's shower and the room is steamy, one can see splashes on the mirror. They gave plastic utensils by default. I mean, come on! First of all, they're so bad for the planet. Second, the quality of the plastic is so inferior, one cannot even push in the fork as it bends on contact with food. We (the clientele) are from homes where we use real utensils and the fact that we're in the hotel for 10 days, they could have just given us real cutlery sets, including plates. It's just extending customer service - making our confinement more comfortable and as homey as possible. I did ask for real cutlery set and they quickly acquiesced to my demand. Another thing I wish they had were exercise equipment. I asked for one - either a stationary bike or a treadmill and they said that they have them but in their other branch (Tagaytay). Instead of letting the equipment sit in Tagaytay, they could make a little bit more money by renting out the machines to those who would like to have an equipment in their room. In revenge, the food was excellent, albeit, there could have been more variety in their cuisine. I ate rice in every meal for 10 days.
