Me and my friend arrived around 1am after the standard day or travelling to find out that the UK has decided to put Turkey on the quarantine list after we had already lost money not going to the already paid for holiday to Spain. When we arrived we found it to be exactly what the pictures show. The hotel does require updating and some 'soft' aspects to the communal areas just to make it look more welcoming. I did initially ask about changing hotels and/or rooms as i felt that i could not do a full week in the hotel after the 1st morning of the breakfast and meeting some lovely people we decided to stay and i am glad we did!!! Breakfast is toast, jams, chocolate spread, chicken sausages, beans, eggs, cheeses. salads, tea coffee and juices was fine for breakfast. The owners and staff are fantastic and they supply the best tuna salad around!! Lots of people here go back time after time and we really felt like part of a family. After the initial shock i would 1000% recommend the hotel it is close to the beach, supermarket and main drag and is a fab base. Thank you all at Sinem
Very well run family business
Siem is a lovely family run hotel/apartments run by Abdul and guiley. This was our first time in Turkey and they made us feel safe and reassured us with our problems out with the hotel and done what they could to help us. Cen was so helpful and a great laugh. Also all the boys at the bar where really nice, Can’t thank the staff enough if I was to come back this is where I would pick.
Hotel ok - needs some improvement
The hotel itself is ok. Quite dated and old fashioned. Could do with some updating and also the rooms are quite small especially when you have a toddler to contend with. And the beds were quite hard to sleep on. However the room was kept clean and we had fresh towels every day. The pool was of a decent size but was always quite overcrowded. And the baby pool was absolutely pointless, very small and not child friendly in the slightest. The gentleman that checked us into the hotel wasn't very helpful either, quite abrupt and unfriendly to be honest. The hotel was in a good location for us and even though we didn't eat there, the food did look very nice.
Love Marmaris but just an average place to stay
Bearing in mind that we booked this last minute and were not bothered where we stayed I would say that this is not a place I would normally book. It is just an average hotel, very dated but clean. Breakfast was awful and of course because of coronavirus you couldn`t help yourself so the staff served you. You are not allowed to touch anything but he was allowed to put bread on a plate for me that he had taken out of the basket with his bare hands! The worst thing was the sunbed situation as there were only a handful of beds that were actually in the sun all day so if you are a sun worshipper this is not the place for you. You need to get up at the crack of dawn to get one of these beds. We spent 2 days around the pool and then for the rest of the week we went down to the beach to Geo Sisters which was absolutely great. You can have a bed all day as long as you are buying drinks. We ate breakfast and lunch and had drinks all day for £40 a day it was so much better than sitting around this hotel`s pool. On the plus side the hotel is a great location near to shops, restaurants and the sea front. I love Marmaris and will definitely visit again but sadly not to the this hotel.
just got back from sinem hotel. What a holiday, the hotel is in great location, staff are very friendly and approachable. The food is superb. Pool is great. Our room was cleaned everyday. I would definitely stay in this hotel again. 10 out of 10
