Solid choice for Marrakech

Reviewed 27 june, 2021

I stayed here as part of a G Adventures tour. It was located in a nice part of town, right by a very modern mall. The Jardin Marjorelle is about a 15 min walk and the old Medina is probably a 40 min walk. Rooms are huge, AC works well. The bathroom was nice with a tub/shower combo. The bed was quite comfortable. The only thing keeping this place from 5 stars is its terrible breakfast. Morocco hotel breakfasts are pretty bad across the board. Bread, bread, and you guessed it…more bread! I would stay here again if I visited Marrakech in the future.

Nice location about 5 min bus ride to the old medina. The hotel is spacious and the rooms too. The rooms are quite clean. Nice helpful staff, the hotel has a nice breakfast area. 2 elevators available.

Outstanding Staff

We stayed here booked with an Exodus tour. We've just arrived back after an unprecedented week during which the Corona Virus ramped up globally. I can't thank the staff enough for their welcome, help, flexibility and compassion. They held rooms whilst we visited the airport on several occasions to try and get repatriation flights, they fed us when cafes and restaurants were forced to shut by the government and they helped us organise taxis at short notice. The hotel is clean, and basic but friendly and welcoming. Breakfasts are basic but plentiful and comparable with hotels across Morocco. There is TV, free wifi a swimming pool and a cafe. A well stocked carrefour supermarket is a short walk away, cash machines within walking distance and good cheap take aways and cafés. Situated in the New town it is easy to get everywhere including the airport by taxi. In the trying times to come for tourism this hotel deserves to survive. Please consider using it when things open up again. The staff will always have a place in our hearts for the help they gave us.

Awesome staff!

Rave reviews on the staff here! The front desk staff was hilarious and kind. He was coming off night shift and making jokes and remaining professional. I really enjoyed this hotel since it was clean and the staff was so awesome. Good coffee in the morning too!

Good basic accommodation

Its a run of the mill city hotel located in the center of Marrakech. Nothing to complain about rooms- pretty spacious and clean. Breakfast choices were poor though. Also, quite a bit of noise from the streets, might be annoying if you are a light sleeper. There were a lot of good restaurants in the vicinity. Old town is 15-20 minutes drive from the hotel, we needed a cab to get back to the hotel. Majorelle garden is kind of in walking distance though. Overall a safe choice if you want to stay in the new part of the town.
