Nice decor but somewhat bare bones
This property is lovely and up to date but has skimped on a few amenities. There is NO daily newspaper provided either complementary or for sale. The daily maid service was so lightweight as to be barely noticeable — bedcovers straightened a little but bed not made; no replacement for mostly used soap; floor not vacuumed. Breakfast bar was OK despite providing only the cheapest of cheap utensils. On the positive side, bed was comfortable, ample shelves and hooks; HVAC worked great, staff was friendly and helpful. I would recommend this property but don’t come with high expectations.
Not for Light Sleepers
Don’t stay here unless you’re guaranteed the top floor. This is one of those poor construction projects where you hear every step, every flush, and every word of the people around you. I stayed for two nights and got a combined 5 hours of sleep because of it, but I’m also a light sleeper. The facilities are good. Rooms are clean and standard Fairfield shape. It’s shares a building with residence inn, never seen that before. Overall, I won’t be back.
had a great stay
nice location quiet, safe and plenty of restaurants nearby, plenty of parking, my room was great, bed very comfortable, breakfast was good like that they had none pork offerings, Kent and Jasmine were superstars as far as i'm concerned both very pleasant and helpful, check in and out was very quick, i'll be back
New hotel with lots of rules
Spent a couple nights at the Fairfield Inn while in town on business. For a Marriott, I was not at all impressed. The person who handled my check-in was unhelpful and not particularly friendly. I also noticed that they were asking guests to sign some sort of "Guest Consideration Policy" which is not something that I've seen at any other Marriott anywhere in the world that I have stayed at (and I stay at a fair number of Marriott properties each year). If you do choose to stay here, I would ask to see a copy of the Guest Consideration Policy in advance so that you know what you are and are not permitted to do. Apparently there are a lot of rules here. Perhaps one bright spot was their breakfast staff member Diane, who was extremely friendly and very helpful, offering to clear plates from the table and refill drinks, which is much more service than you get in the breakfast area at most Fairfield Inn properties. I think whatever management group owns this property should consider replacing the current management with Diane. She clearly understands how to treat guests.
Flies
I don't know how this dump could have so many good reviews. I stayed with my husband and two grandkids, and we had a horrible first night! My grandson first noticed a fly in our room, then another, and another!! He swatted three. We had adjoining rooms, then I found another three, and they kept coming! We found more flies in our room than there were on the elephants at the zoo! I checked the windows, all closed. They must have been coming through the vents. Finally around 10:00 pm, we were all freaking out, and and couldn't take any more, so my husband insisted on another room! I've traveled all over the world, India, China, Philippines, all over Europe, and the Middle East, and NEVER had an experience like this, right here in the USA. We were moved to another room, and after all that inconvenience, the manager would not comp us the night. We are stuck here for four more nights. I would not let my dog stay there, that's how gross it was.
