The villas are located on Cerritos Beach in an area called New Mazatlan. Mazatlan and the Golden Zone are both 500 m away. This charming, family friendly complex is a quiet and relaxing boutique resort and comprises a total of only 28 individual villas. The villas are clustered into 3 groups: the first group are the beachfront villas which offer direct access to the beach on a level that no other resort in Mazatlan can match; the second group are the poolside villas which encircle the pool area and offer direct access to the pool and its tropical gardens, as well as the poolside hot tub. A worthy place to stay. On the beach, great staff, large townhouse style accommodation, a decent restaurant.

Beach front. Great staff. Roomy two story townhouses. The facility is aging but functional. The grounds are lush and as depicted in the photo. Pool is salt water from ocean as are the rest of the area pools. In suite Kitchens reasonably appointed. As it is a smaller resort, it was uncrowded, and gave us welcome breathing room at the pool side. Restaurant is good and accommodating. They cooked up our fresh caught Marlin 4 different ways and it was excellent. Will return. Thanks Luis, "Chewie" and Winston. The staff made it even more amazing.

We stayed here 4 days, 3 nights and it was just so filthy the entire time. The first morning we advised the front desk that all our bedding was dirty/smelly/used, so they went in and just MADE the beds, rather than changing the bedding. We never got to use the jacuzzi because the heater was broken, and the pool was being cleaned for 3 days. We politely brought our concerns up and they told us “You came at a bad time” and offered not even an apology. Ouch. I was waiting to hit the submit button on the review, hoping they’d make it right. Too bad.
Open cantina 24/7

Open cantina 24/7 a lot of drinkers below the palapas and around the swimming pool. Music too loud, cannot sleep. Security people didn't do anything. No more a family hotel to enjoy at Mazatlán. Need to find another quiet place for rest.
Rustic and Delightful

Three of my friends and I were rejuvenated by our relaxing getaway to Mazatlán. Ocean sounds lulled us to sleep each night, and we enjoyed breathtaking sunsets each evening. The staff were wonderful, especially Wiston. The restaurant has limited selections for breakfast, lunch and dinner, but great options are available at more modern hotels within walking distance. I had an awesome massage outdoors (ask for Isabel). These pluses outweighed the paucity of amenities I expect from 4-5 star hotels or resorts.
