Kicked out of our booking
I have used this hotel in June 2018. Again we have booked two rooms in this hotel as a family to stay between Christmas and New Year. Today I have received a message from the owner that he will close the property for major alterations and that we cannot stay in one of the rooms. Miraculously, we still can use the other room! Besides, there are rooms available for this date at Booking.com as of today. I have never heard of a customer being kicked out of a hotel booking like this before. We had to cancel both the rooms. Untrustworthy provider.
Fabulous
Absolutely fabulous, beautiful room ,and the owner Peter could not do enough would highly recommend this b&b ... we stayed in the saddle suite beautiful huge on suite with Jacuzzi bath and shower..room was spotless clean and breakfast was amazing, courtesy car available as we were going to a concert. Would definitely stay again.
A warm and welcoming stay
From the moment of arrival, Peter and Lena made myself, husband and friends so very welcome. We were able to arrive a bit early which helped us Nothing was too much for Peter and he went out of his way to make us feel at home and ensure we had a comfortable and enjoyable stay at their B&B and also assisting us popping to the local town of Kells as well as offering us advice on local venues worth a visit. We were certain not to go hungry whilst staying and we enjoyed the full and delicious breakfasts we had across our weekend break. A very warm and friendly manner and we loved a good natter! We'd definitely return should we be in the area again and def worth staying a little out of town to find this place. Room was nice and clean. A homely feel to it and slept well. Suitable for couples, groups or families alike. Thanks for having us!
Very impressed with our stay
I would highly recommend grangeclare paddocks we have just arrived back after a night stay here with 3 young children and were very impressed with the large family room and the breakfast was stunning. We hope to go back again
Perfect stay
I stayed for two nights. The house is very nice and situated in lovely grounds in a quiet location. My room was very clean and comfortable with a modern en suite bathroom. There is a good choice of food for breakfast, including a cooked Irish breakfast which was superb. They offer a shuttle service to the town, which we used, driven by the owner Peter who is a very nice man. He really made us welcome and looked after us throughout our time there. I would highly recommend a visit. Thanks Peter
