Old Palace in an marvelous environment, quiet and nice Nice staff and enjoyable spa But I must say that although the building is renewed, the worst is inside the rooms, old and not well maintained If only that rooms were refurbished and updated the hotel would be a fantastic place to spend a weekend (take it as suggestion just to improve)

Beautiful historic building

Absolutely stunning building. Unfortunately the rooms are not up to par with the exterior. Old tired tiny bathrooms, a. Mini shower. Breakfast was OK. It felt a bit like a time warp. Interesting for history buffs.

Has resemblance of a rest home

Visited as a couple late September heading South to Spain. The Hotel is beautifully set in a large park area and has great feeling of space. The rooms are very cosy and comfortable. As there is not much of choice for restaurants in the village we decided to eat in but eating in Spain is usually quite late in the evening and her there was no exception 21:00 hours. There is a preset menu which is inexpensive but do not expect high quality cuisine. The Hotel resembled somehow a home for the elderly but nonetheless it was quite an experience. The room rate included breakfast but again do not expect a grand buffet, it was basic but doable.

Most overprized hotel I have been
Reviewed 2 january, 2017
I booked this hotel just based on its looks and high price. I thought I was in for a wonderful experience. What I got was exactly the opposite. The rooms are extremely small and old. And by old I don't mean charming old...I mean cheap old...nothing charming about it. My room was in the back, facing the pool area and right on top of the restaurant. The noise did not stop until 2AM. There was a constant bell ringing every few minutes. The hallways are not carpeted and the doors are thin and old. You can hear every step on the hallway and every conversation. The cafeteria and restaurant are very limited in what the offered. There are much better hotels in the area for 1/3 of the price. Stop by, take pictures of the building and leave...stay at the Parador in Tordesillas (one of my favorites).

Very nice building, experience could have been better

This is a very nice old building. Just visiting it is worth the trip. However, the lodging experience is just average. Small and old rooms, average breakfast, not very professional staff. This place could perfectly be a five star resort with some investment and better management.
