Booked online. Not once did it mention that there was a night club on the premises. Could hear the base beat all Friday and Saturday night until 2 in the morning. A bit of a walk from the city. Room was clean and tidy. Reception friendly. Wheelchair access through a public car park. . Cleaners threw away a brown bag that had my mum's brand new lambs wool slippers just purchased in it. Complained but the said sorry a mistake. Not bad. Just average.
May as well have slept on the dancefloor
This is a hotel with a nightclub downstairs. Very loud doof doof music and drunk crowd until 4am. You won't get any sleep at this hotel and you won't get any proper warning about it. They clearly don't care about hotel patrons. It's all about making as much money as possible with a hotel and club in the one location. Terrible!
A little gem
I booked this hotel worried about the noise factor of the nightclub, but the location and price won. I travelled with my sister and booked a deluxe twin with breakfast. The staff were fantastic always very helpful and always happy. We were on the sixth floor and the noise was not too bad, we slept well. The bed very comfortable. We loved the cafe where breakfast was served. Called the Dikstein on the corner of Little Collins and Bank Place. The rooms were clean and towels changed daily.
Not great
We visited this hotel at the start of January the room was average, when we checked out they asked if we used the mini bar which we did not. A few days later my credit card had been charged I messaged them and they would not refund me for the peanuts we had apparently eaten! It is not much money but it is the principle we did not eat them and am really unhappy we’ve been charged. We are currently traveling and every penny counts!! If you use this hotel please check the mini bar else you’ll get extra charged!!
Very bad hotel
Extremely noisy disco club under hotel, our windows were shaking till 4:00am!! There is nothing in description that you should be prepared for loudness discomfort. I have never been in so bad hotel. Old furniture, lamp and hair dryer were broken, very poor access to wifi. Never again. View from our room is on the picture
