Buen hotel bien situado
El hotel está muy bien ubicado cerca de Souther Cross station, a donde llega el bus del aeropuerto, y de Federation Street, con tiendas y restaurantes cerca. La zona del hotel es tranquila. Nosotros cogimos una habitación con vistas a la piscina y no había ruido. Se oye un ruido de fondo del tren, pero no molesta. El hotel está bien cuidado. Tiene parking por 45 AUD al día, pero al lado nos pareció ver otro por 17 AUD. Personal muy amable. No teníamos desayuno incluido y al llegar te hacen oferta del buffet por 20 AUD por persona y día. Nosotros lo cogimos y estaba muy bien. Tiene un cuarto de lavandería. Habitación amplia, cómoda y limpia. El baño está bien. Cama cómoda. Nosotros teníamos wifi incluido e iba bien.
Terrible Location
We made a mistake in booking this hotel (thought it was another location) and didn’t cut our losses. The hotel is a budget hotel in a really bad location on Spencer Street. Rooms are small, bathroom agonizingly small and the beds uncomfortable. The worst room service ever. NOT FOR US.
Very nice
Very nice hotel in quiet area. The front desk employees were very friendly and helpful. The room was comfortable and spacious. Beds were good as well as shower pressure. Refrigerator is not stocked so there was room for drinks and food. The pool is outside and exercise room is fairly well equipped. Self-serve laundry was available for a fee. Easy walk to free city tram and train station. We purchased the breakfast when we arrived and it was well worth the money. The buffet offered lots of choices along with made to order omelets and they had an automatic pancake maker, which provided very good pancakes with a touch of a button.
Nice hotel and location
Spent 5 nights here and enjoyed the comfort of the beds and general facilities of this modern hotel. The location is 10 minutes walk from the Yarra River and all the leisure facilities it has to offer. Within a 5 - 10 minutes walk you're into a miriad of restaurants and pubs. For those who've not visited Melbourne before (this was our first) it has a massive amount to offer from a tourist point of view. We had breakfast in the restaurant and it was 1st class as was service from the staff. A taxi bay is right outside the hotel
Great Location
Nice hotel, helpful staff, but weird window situation in the rooms. Most rooms face other buildings and so you are looking at other apartments or offices. The room has two automatic blinds, one light and one black out. The light blind is mostly for use during the day to block other people from viewing into your room, so you really cannot have a clear window since it opens your room to a public viewing. A little awkward. The rooms were very nice and comfortable.
