Wonderful!
My husband and I came for a weekend getaway for his birthday. We were a little hesitant about the price for a weekend room. However, it was well worth it. The room was amazing, the people were so nice, and everything was so clean. The only problem we had was with room service. I forgot to ask for Mayo, when I called to ask them to bring me some the girl was rude, said she would be right back up... but we never got the Mayo. Overall, we loved it!
Nothing short of AMAZING!!!
I can’t rave enough about the staff at this hotel. Check in was seamless and everyone was so courteous. The one employee that stood out was Jeffrey (bellman). He was stretched thin but still had a smile on his face (under the mask of course) and was so personable. Not only did he make sure our luggage arrived at our room safely and in a timely manner but also was our driver for the courtesy ride to dinner! We had a wonderful conversation on the way to dinner and he was back in a timely manner to pick us up (it was POURING RAIN minutes before our pickup). You do not find many people who truly love their job like Jeffrey! Can’t wait for future stays just so we can keep in contact! Thank you for the PERFECT mom and son weekend!
Anniversary Getaway
My husband and I chose to stay here for our anniversary and I am so glad we did. For starters, I mentioned this was an anniversary getaway when booking and when we arrived our hotel room had a chocolate cake for two with wine glasses and a card (along with a little snack basket). Little touches like that make all the difference! The room was immaculate and felt so luxurious. We had an interior room with a balcony overlooking the inside of the bass pro store - the perfect place to unwind with a glass of wine in the evening. The jetted tub with a window view of the rooms’ tv and fireplace was absolutely perfect. We walked around the floors of the hotel and enjoyed looking at the mini-museums setup within. The hotel is decorated nicely, very clean and well taken care of. The guys working the valet parking were top notch, they literally ran to get our vehicle for us and were so friendly. I hate I didn’t get to visit the spa but will definitely make time for that on our next trip because I plan on coming back! I would highly recommend staying here! It’s worth every penny!
Valentines Getaway!
My wife and I stayed overnight at Big Cypress Lodge for Valentines Day. We stayed in the Ducks Unlimited cabin and it did not disappoint! We love the rustic amenities and decor. There are always complimentary snacks when you arrive, which is a nice touch. We spent time in the upstairs bar by the fireplace, which added to the romantic atmosphere. Our favorite part was sitting out on the porch and people watching. It was a wonderful time!!
Well worth the stay
Excellent place!!!! Wish we would have stayed there more nights. The room was very comfortable and cozy. People were very friendly and I loved I could just go down stairs and shop. Will definitely go back!!!
