The perfect place for our needs

I cannot recommend this place enough. My wife, my mother, and I stayed there this past weekend and found it to be charming, comfortable, beautiful, and an all-around pleasure. We made the reservation on the B&B website (a trusted site), and found the staff, including Stefanie, Trisha, Michelle, and Savanah, to be amazing, which was particularly important because my mom is elderly and this trip simply would not have worked without them going the extra mile. The room (the Ruby room, which is more like a cottage) was comfortable and memorable (hopefully they aren't going to change/remodel it, as I'm afraid it will lose its unique charm), the food was delicious (breakfast every morning, 24/7 coffee, tea, and cookies), and the location/views were stunning. We will no doubt be back, and I have no interest at all in looking elsewhere. This is our new "vacation home".

What a wonderful Inn. The young lady on duty was a breath of fresh air - nothing was too much trouble. The location is fantastic an our rooms were very comfortable. Many spaces for sitting and relaxing and a great breakfast too. Only stayed on night and wish it was longer.

We ended up extending our stay we enjoyed everything Mendocino and this Inn had to offer so much. The room was great, equipped with a microwave and fridge which proved useful. The staff were the best feature of this hotel, however. Very friendly and helpful. They cooked the excellent breakfasts and there was something different every day. The inn had coffee and cookies available for much of the day. Highly recommended.

My Wife has been looking forward to this stay for 35 Years. The Topaz room was assigned to us with a king Feather Bed. They placed a Queen/Full Box spring under a broken down OLD King Mattress. We didn't sleep at all. Continually catching ourselves from falling off. The office was notified but did nothing. I have attempted to again call /email with NO response. The maintenance man told us, "that this had been going on for months but they continue to rent. Mattress and box spring was to be replaced MONTHS ago." A ruined vacation. Don't stay here.

We spent one night at the agate when on a road trip through Northern California and this Inn was perfect. Make sure you make it to this destination before sunset, the best thing we did. Mendocino is a great little town, wish we had more time to spend there. Our room at the Inn was clean and pleasing. The breakfast at the Inn was great, some of the other travelers were able to see whales with the binoculars provided in the dining room. The french press coffee was awesome, a great way to start our long day of travel. Highly recommend
