This hotel was so gross. There was mold around the bathtub. The bathroom ceiling tiles were falling in. There was garbage and dirt on the floor next to the bed. The hotel staff was extremely rude and unprofessional. I tried to save money since this was a last minute trip due to the funeral. We’ll stay across the street at the Quality Inn next time.
Disgusting place with terrible service!

The Super 8 in Mendota, iL gets a 0 out of 5 stars. It was dirty, humid, and smelled disgusting. We had driven 4 hours and were ready to relax in the hotel we booked only to find this. We stayed that night because it was late and other accommodations were booked. I promptly called the front desk to cancel the rest of my stay to only have the owner who was working at the front desk say that she couldn’t help me, I needed to call Wyndham, and hung up on me. I promptly call Wyndham and they apologized, canceled my reservation, and said my refund would be immediate since the hotel had already charged my card. It was a weekend and Monday was a holiday. So when the charges didn’t drop immediately, I wasn’t too concerned. But when the next business day came, and the money was still deducted from my account, I was concerned. It’s now been 10 days and I have called the hotel and Wyndham 4 times each at no avail. I just want my money refunded. It shouldn’t be this difficult. It shouldn’t take this long. As a side note, I will say that I only had an issue with the owner’s attitude. I have been talking with Amber which I assume is an assistant or general manager. She has been nothing but kind and helpful. But she can only do so much. It’s up to the owner to solve the issue and issue a refund. The owner has never contacted me even though I've left messages, Amber has given her messages, and one day I called several times throughout the day only to be met with an unanswered phone for hours at a time! Very poor management from the owner!!!
Never stay here

The room smelled like mildew, it hadn’t been dusted in months and there was no internet (WiFi). They didn’t change my room or provide internet access. I developed a cough while staying there. Never stay here.
Horrible, not fit for pigs!

Reservation canceled day of by management because they decided last minute not to allow any stays that were booked using points earned from staying at Wyndham properties. We ended up going 20 minutes away as we refused to give money to this business that has so little respect for it its customers.
