Decent place - awesome staff

I was here for 2 days. The hotel is decently central and okay for the price. the best thing about the stay was I lost my passport, which the staff agreed to sent to me in Mexico City - honesty at its finest!
A good budget option

This hotel consists of three buildings and I have never seen other two. (I stayed at the first building from the bus terminal.) My room was very clean and even pretty --they clean the room and change the towels everyday -- though there were some mosquitoes in the room. The AC was quiet and strong.and with a ceiling fan it felt almost cold. Staff spoke only Spanish but were nice. Quiet for 24 hours and there were no problems for sleeping at all. Wifi was fast. Located only one block away from the ADO terminal and so very convenient when you arrive.in Merida by ADO bus. Takes 20 min. to Zocalo on foot. Costed p350 for a single.

No complaints. The hotel is located 1 block from the ado bus station. The room was clean, everything working ok, including wifi. It even has access to a small swimming pool. Friendly staff always willing to help.

Merida is a great colonial city in Mexico to rest and relax after visiting Chichen Itza. For a small family travelling on a small budget I recommend Hotel Tierra del Sol - a most friendly caring environment for a great price - about $50. A room with two beds to rest and explore the City with the bus terminal around the corner. No need to hire a taxi.
Low price, hospitable, but very basic

For the price (550 pesos for 5 people), it couldn't be beat. We were graciously allowed to check in early (around 9?) and deposit our bags in our room, and we were supplied with fresh towels. The room was extremely basic - more like a hostel than hotel - with 4 beds in 2 rooms (and 2 ensuite bathrooms). While the hotel did come with amenities like wifi and air conditioning, the beds were very uncomfortable (sheets and mattress), the street noise was easily heard, and one of the bathrooms smelled very badly of sewage. I wouldn't choose this again, but it could be an option for backpackers. The only reason it is not 2 stars is because of the friendly service.
