Pleasant stay at a historic hotel
Historic location and building with classic architecture. Despite Merida being small, it is well located and the most we walked was 20 minutes to the Circus (everything else is around 10 minutes) - loads of communal spaces to relax and nice garden. Room clean if not a bit basic.
Nice, but..
Hotel is located in an old beautiful building, parking available. Breakfast is a bit mediocre, possibly impact of Covid? No eggs on display etc. Room is quite big, but old doors have minimum sound insulation, when someone knocked on the neighbors door- I thought it was mine!
Merida's Parador is terrific
All around great value; central, very attentive and helpful staff, great restaurant, and a very comfortable hotel room. We look forward to returning to the Parador de Merida in the future to explore more of Merida and the surrounding area. We will strongly recommend this hotel to friends and acquaintances who may be travelling to Merida in the future.
Outstanding Hotel and Restaurant
My stay at the parador was wonderful. While my room was comfortable, I was most impressed by the restaurant. The best beef filet I've ever eaten! The pork was also excellent, as were the breads and desserts. The staff were helpful, providing advice about the marvelous local wine.
A Parador worthy of Merida.
The Parador of Mérida is located in a strategic place to visit the monuments and the entire historical center of the city. The rooms and facilities are comfortable. The staff is attentive. The former convent of the 18th century becomes a cozy place without losing its original function. It is important that you have parking. I would recommend it to anyone who asks me.
