fine stay
Getting late at night and needing a place to stay i decided to find a hotel in Metter. i looked for an independent hotel just for the heck of it. The Garden Inn looked good. The front desk gentleman was gracious. The bed was fine. The property was being painted on the outside. I would defiantly stay here again.
Penalty Charged
Please make sure to check your cancellation policy if booking through a 3rd party site. The hotel declined to give a refund after I booked in the wrong city for my daughter's graduation. This place is over an hour away from my destination. Manager would not even do a percentage as a cancellation fee. He charged the full amount of the room. Lesson learned, I will never book anything again without double checking, especially never again at this establishment.
Terrible!!!!
Needed to make a change to my trip. Manager was so rude and not helpful at all!! He yelled at me on the phone. I am a business owner and I know that policies can be bent or broken or help a customer. He was not interested in being helpful at all. Place is also a dump!!
Too overpriced for what you get
I was charged 123.00 for sleeping on a hard mattress....and hard as rock pillows....the man at the lobby was very sweet and kind...but as for the rooms....they need an upgrade.and more comfortable mattresses....this was the only place available at the time I made the reservation....I guess beggars can't be choosers....I mean...for the price I was charged for one night was WAY TOO MUCH.....I mean I can rent a condo on. The beach...for the same price....and be way more comfortable....and they only serve coffee in the morning.....and no continental breakfast....NOWTHAT SUCKED......I mean if I was charged that much they at least could of served me breakfast. So I had to go to the local Waffle House...
Go Somewhere Else!
The manager was very curt during check in. The room was clean enough, except for a large stain on the carpet, stained towels, and random bathroom hairs. The bed was unusually low to the floor and not very comfortable.
