Horrible customer service / sub Par Hotel / MIGHT BE VENEZUELAN

Checked in late and the room was very hot. Turned on the A/C only to find the A/C unit is VERY loud and does not keep the room cool. When we called and spoke with Francisco at the front desk, he laughed at the fact the A/C didn’t work. No alternative or fix was given. Wanted a cup of coffee the following morning and found a wonderful Nespresso coffee maker with ONE (1) de-caffeinated coffee pod. They have 8 coffee cups, but only one coffee pod. When we Inquired we were told that guests are limited to one cup of coffee per day. NOT ONE CUP PER PERSON, BUT ONE CUP PER HOTEL ROOM. In our case we each get a half cup of coffee each since we are 2 people. IS THIS THE NEW VENEZUELA ACCORDING TO STARA? I feel like I’m staying in OLD NATZI GERMANY. When we asked to speak with a manager we were told to call Stara Hamburgo, so called them. We were then told NO MANAGER ON SUNDAY but someone here could take care of us. Norberto said he could not help us as these are the directives from the administrator. Don’t wast your money staying at this “boutique hotel” and simply go up the road and stay at a major hotel brand.

Quick visit into the city and excellent value before my flight on Saturday down to LATAM

I slept like a baby in a clean and lovely bed, and BC was treated exceptionally well. Suitcase carried to my room. Ultra modern lighting and air conditioning in the room explained to me and missed the wonderful roof top restaurant everyone raves about! But they brought me down two pieces of fruit in the morning as I was leaving. And all included! Really amazing value for the price - under $150 USD! Recommended for one or two and several night stay, the suite is like a mini apartment!

Had to move away from home because of a rennovation. Stara was the perfect place. Not a regular touristic hotel. Very business oriented but superb. Beautiful place. Very modern. Excelent location. Fantastic service. Accesible prices. Great food. Cozy accomodations with all amenities. Just loved it. Thanks to all of you for an unfogettanle 3 week stay

Noisy. Very noisy.

Don’t expect much sleep here. They are always having loud parties late at night on the rooftop, sometimes until 4-5am. There is also a horrible manhole cover in the street that sounds like a train when cars drive on it. Even earplugs didn’t help. Ask before booking if they have parties booked at the same time. Apart from the noise, it’s a nice place.
