No security, no breakfast information.great location

First and last time staying in a boutique hotel with no security or professionalism to take the time to inform you about their amenities. We decided to stay at this hotel because we were going to be here for 5 nights and wanted a more personalized experience. We had breakfast included with our stay and the lady that checked us in never told us about any of the hotel amenities. Not the rooftop, the gym anything. The only reason why I found out there was breakfast included was because I overheard the front desk lady talking on the phone with a customer telling them that their stay included breakfast, yet we were there for 2 nights and not one person informed us about this included feature. Secondly they pride themselves of a VIP experience definitely not the case. A hotel guest was robbed at gun point at the hotel lobby and we saw all the cops outside. And asked if everything was ok and everyone said yes no problem. So we left it at that. Then when we were having coffee upstairs the gentleman who was robbed at gun point told us about it. I believe our safety should be a priority an email of notice or even hiring security at the door would be a good idea specially after someone just got robbed at your lobby. To be fair the guy was targeted way before he even got to the hotel probably since the airport. he was wearing an expensive watch and the robber just asked for his watch and nothing else. So they were already waiting for him to arrive at the hotel. Anyone can go upstairs to the elevator there is zero security and this is a concern for hotel guests and the hotel itself. After finding out breakfast was included the experience was great! The lady from the cafeteria went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed and they even let us have breakfast in the terrace. The front desk people were really nice too afterwards. Lastly we invested in a balcony suite and got the worts view on the 5th floor. So not all balconies have nice view and anyone walking by the backstairs could see into our room.

Noise, Noise and More Noise

Strident construction is being perform at this hotel or in proximity of this hotel from approximately 8:00 am to 7:00 pm; it awoke me in the morning and I could not sleep until it ended in the evening. Otherwise the accommodations were fine.

Location is great, but....

Reviewed 4 november, 2019

Giving this place 1 star would be unfair, but I was close to rating it that low. Lets start with the good points... Location is excellent. Condesa is a great little area to be in and I recommend the area very much. Breakfast is edible. Not much choice and not to a particularly high standard, but I ate what was on offer every morning. That's about it with the good points sadly. We got off to a bad start on our first day. We landed from the UK at 4am so we were knackered, and check in wasn't until 3pm. We went directly to the hotel to drop off our luggage as agreed previously with the hotel. When we did this we asked if there was any chance of checking into our room a bit early. The guy suggested that the room might actually be free now.... But heart sinks as he says someone is in it. That's fine though, we knew check in was 3pm so we could deal with it. But he says it will definitely be ready by 12pm. So jet lagged, exhausted brain plans what to do fror the next 7 hours, relieved that it doesn't have to fill 10 hours. So we count down until 12pm going from coffee shop to breakfast place then coffee shop again, almost falling asleep in Starbucks. At 12 we head back to. FlowSuites to be greated by a pair of women on the front desk who rudely dismiss us as if they couldn't believe that we were asking to check in early and sent us away. Now.... Don't get me wrong. I know we weren't meant to check in until 3pm. But being told we could check in early and basing our first morning on that, to then be rudely sent away was not a good start. Anyway... On top of this... ~ almost constant loud banging during the day from neighbouring building works meant we were unable to catch up on any sleep... If there are building works being carried out that are that disruptive guests should be warned ~ room was made up for one person when there were clearly 2 booked to stay ~ the mini bar was practically empty ~ the towels were threadbare ~ the complimentary vanity kit was used by previousGiving this place 1 star would be unfair, but I was close to rating it that low. This particular point is not a reason to necessarily score lower stars, as I am the tourist, its my responsibility to learn Spanish in a Spanish speaking company. But I wanted to highlight that if you don't speak much Spanish and you stay here, you're not going to get very far.

Location!!!!!

Reviewed 3 november, 2019

So I was a little apprehensive prior to arriving due to the last couple of negative reviews. However, there was nothing to worry about. Our suite was huge and had a clean, modern decor. Service was great and I never had any issues with noise. Yes, I could hear cars outside but it wasn’t anything that was keeping me up at night and I’m a light sleeper. The bed was on the harder side and was a little creaky. The included breakfast was very minimal, but the coffee was good. The main draw for this hotel is its location. We were able to walk everywhere at all hours and never felt unsafe. The Condesa area is gorgeous with its cafes, restaurants and parks.

To start with, the bed was broken bed

Reviewed 25 october, 2019

I chose this hotel based on the great reviews and the beautiful photos. However, in person, it's a different story. To start, we needed more towels, but there were none. And, the towels that are here are thread bare. We needed 2 more pillows but there were none. Then, we sat on the bed. It sounded like the pedestal was being torn apart with a hatchet. I can't attach video. The front desk said there was no more rooms available, so we couldn't move to another room. I had to ask for sheets and a blanket to sleep on the filthy couch. The night was rough, as I had to sleep on the couch and my husband suffered on the broken bed. Today, they are supposed to move us to another room, but not until much later this afternoon. We had paid for a tour of the pyramids, but are absolutely exhausted and need to find a new hotel. This hotel has ruined our trip!
