Nope. Not up to IHG standards.

This hotel was not centrally located like I expected. Yes uber is really cheap but it's an awful 1/2 hour ride to coayacan. The rooms are old, need updating, carpet in the halls seems dirty. Bathrooms are awful. The shower is right in the room with see thru glass. The toilet is in a weird old square tiled room. The whole place feels dirty to me. Welcome drink wasn't...beer or soda or wine only.
Look no more, this place is perfect

Location While the hotel is not located where all the hotspots are, it is conveniently located near the train station and if you chose to take a taxi instead, the cost isn't too much. Also if you are coming from the airport, you can use the taxi service in the airport and it will cost you $12, and when you are leaving the hotel can arrange this service for you to get back to the airport for an additional $12. Room My room was very clean and exceeded my expectations. Usually when I travel I dont feel safe sleeping under the sheets, but the cleanliness of this hotel made me feel safe to. The room was restocked daily and cleaned. Service The people that work here are amazing. They are extremely tentative and do their best to meet your needs. I had nothing but friendly interactions with EVERYONE that worked here. Food The food is catered more for Americans. The attempt is appreciated however I like authentic food. The food here is perfect for someone who is scared to go out in Mexico and eat. The hotel has a bar and restaurant. The servers and the bartenders were very professional and did their best to accommodate me, considering I don't speak english. Overall I really enjoyed my stay here. I will be returning to Mexico soon and this is the place I will be giving my business to.

We arrived at 3.30 am after a very exhausting evening flying in from Guatemala and missing our connection. Staff were very helpful and the room was excellent. Absolutely huge with 2 double beds with memory foam mattress and pillows, beautifully clean, and a welcome coffee machine. Just what we needed. We missed out on breakfast but very much enjoyed the buffet lunch before leaving for the airport once again. It was a shame we were not in Mexico for longer to see the sights, having only arrived by default, but if you are travelling this way we would highly recommend this hotel.
Clean, Attractive Room - Unexpected and Appreciated

It's hard to run a huge hotel, especially when you've got guests arriving by the busload. I arrived with two friends and we had an intense work schedule. My friends stayed on the 8th floor and found it to be quiet. I stayed on the fourth floor in a lovely room with snafus the first night and the second night disrupting my comfort and privacy. I won't go into the details because the manager was kind enough to see that what happened to me what unacceptable and offered to make up for it. The dining room is well- managed. Staff is amazingly well-trained.

Regular service, clean and spacious rooms, not located in a very good area, don't let yourselves be fooled with the name, is actually about 15 minute drive from the Coyoacan nice area (Coyotes Plaza). Won't stay there again due to the place where is located.
